WWE wrestler Randy Orton spoke with TMZ and said he’s in favor of going forward with the WWE Crown Jewel event. “I think we should go,” Orton said. “I think the only way to help with change is to go and not to cancel the trip.” Orton mention WWE working a show in Abu Dhabi and then added: “And I think we’ll be there eventually with Saudi and Crown Jewel. That’s the goal is to make things better everywhere and I think us not going doesn’t help. Going helps.” View the video at TMZ.com.
Powell’s POV: WWE’s first goal is to collect the huge payday for Crown Jewel and additional huge paydays for their future shows in Saudi Arabia. I have a hard time believing that if this show paid WWE a typical rate that the company would be doing business with the Saudis to begin with let alone following through with this event following the slaughter of reporter Jamal Khashoggi.

WWE’s shows change nothing except for WWE’s annual profits. I’m not surprised by Orton’s perspective. He’s the kind of entitled kid who can never see beyond the tip of his own nose.
Dudes probably making decent money to do this trip.
Or maybe he doesn’t care. And there’s nothing wrong with that. I think it’s unfortunate about the reporter but at the end of the day it means nothing to me and I’m sure others feel the same way. Stop trying to make people share your viewpoints.
