Thursday’s Impact Wrestling television drew 248,000 total viewers on Pop TV, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 299,000 viewers the show accumulated the previous week.

Powell’s POV: The drop was expected due to the return of the NFL, which delivered 6.765 million viewers to NBC for the Hall of Fame game between the Bears and Ravens. That said, it’s only going to get tougher for Impact once the NFL regular season begins next month. Last year, Impact Wrestling produced 276,000 viewers for the August 3 edition, which was also opposed by the HOF game.
