UFC legend Ronda Rousey signing with WWE was featured in an Associated Press story written by Dan Gelston. “There’s a lot of ways to market Ronda Rousey,” Jim Ross said. “I think her love of the wrestling business and the sizzle that comes with it for WWE is something she’s very interested in. I don’t think it’s a payday issue as much as it’s a new adventure.” Read the full story at APNews.com.

Powell’s POV: Bayley and yours truly are also quoted in the story, which also notes that WWE declined to make Rousey and Paul “Triple H” Levesque available for interviews today. There’s still no word as to whether Rousey will appear on tonight’s Raw, as the WWE website preview has left that open, but she will surely be a major topic of conversation.
