Michael Cole announced on Monday’s Raw that Dean Ambrose will be sidelined for roughly nine months after undergoing surgery to repair a high-grade triceps tendon injury. Read more on the story at WWE.com.
Powell’s POV: The nine month prognosis is longer than expected. While the severity of the tears may be different, I read multiple stories about NFL players returning from similar injuries in six months. Nevertheless, it’s a rough injury for Ambrose and poor timing in that it puts a kibosh on The Shield reunion.
