NXT wrestler Lio Rush (Lionel Green) commented on WWE releasing Emma on Sunday. “I guess these are the things that happen when you’re not TRULY ready for @WWEAsuka,” Rush wrote on Twitter. He later deleted the tweet and issued an apology in which he stated that he respects Emma while adding that it “saddens” him that the tweet was “blown out of proportion and looked at in a very insensitive way.”
Powell’s POV: Some WWE wrestlers and independent wrestlers were quick to call out Rush and rightfully so. While Rush presumably meant no harm, this was a poor time for him to make a failed attempt at humor. The 22 year-old Rush had a reputation for being immature in Ring of Honor, and one can only hope that this will be a learning experience for him.
You aint gonna make it here with the wolves, kid.

Apologising because people didn’t like your joke, not for joking about someone losing their job. Also, try the English classes at the PC. 👍 https://t.co/tZnaDzqB5K
