Shane McMahon safe following emergency helicopter landing

Shane McMahon was a passenger in a helicopter that made an emergency landing in the Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday.The helicopter made an emergency landing roughly a half-mile off shore. “I would like to thank our pilot, Mario, who did a heroic job of landing us safely in the water, the Suffolk County Marine Bureau who were first on the scene, all the lifeguards who came out to assist us and the Fire Island Coast Guard station,” McMahon told WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: Shane added that he intends to be at the Battleground event on Sunday. Fortunately, no one onboard was injured. By the way, thanks to everyone who passed along this story while I played hooky at the Minnesota Twins game.
