Matt and Jeff Hardy made an unadvertised appearance at the Ring of Honor event in New York City on Saturday. They defeated the Young Bucks to capture the ROH Tag Titles. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Dan S]
Powell’s POV: The Hardys’ deals with TNA expired this week, making them free agents. They reportedly stated at the ROH event that they have signed ROH deals. They are scheduled to face the Young Bucks at the April 1 ROH event in Lakeland, Florida.
Update: Dot Net reader John passed along the following details: I’m currently in the Manhattan Center for ROH. The Hardys are the new ROH Tag Team Champions. They came out at the end of the Lio Rush and Jay White vs Young Bucks match and challenged the Bucks to a match. The Bucks accepted and it led to the Hardys winning the belts. After the match, they buried TNA and stated they will be with ROH for a few dates going forward.
