Alberto El Patron (a/k/a Jose Rodríguez) releases a statement via social media on Monday in which he states that he was assaulted and stabbed on Sunday and thus missed the AAA event that evening. Powell’s POV: El Patron gave the AAA promotion documentation of the incident, and the promotion issued a statement in support in response. El Patron also noted in his press release that he will return to the ring this weekend and won’t miss any additional bookings due to the injuries.
