Soccer player officially signs WWE developmental deal

Logo_WWE_dnFormer German soccer goalkeeper Tim Wiese has officially signed a WWE developmental contract. “Tim is tenacious,” Triple H stated in a WWE website story. “He continues to be very vocal in his desire to prove that he has what it takes, and he has shown tremendous resilience and determination to create an opportunity for himself. This is his break to walk his talk. If all goes well in Florida, he will get his chance in the ring.” Read more at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: The 34 year-old Wiese retired from soccer in 2014. He stated in the story that he hopes to be in the WWE ring in November.
