WWE Friday Night Smackdown delivered 2.618 million viewers for Fox, according to the overnight numbers listed by Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was up from the 2.543 million overnight number last week. The first hour delivered 2.725 million viewers, while the second hour produced 2.510 million viewers.
Powell’s POV: Smackdown topped last week’s live show numbers despite being a taped show this week. Smackdown continued to be dominant in the male 18-49 demographic over all other network shows. The final numbers for Friday Night Smackdown will be available early next week (there may be a delay due to Veteran’s Day on Monday).
Just that little touch of unpredictability has helped the show immensely. Vince will find a way to screw it up fairly soon though.
No hitlist again. I bet you wont be skipping any AEW hitlists.
Grow up. I don’t watch wrestling like it’s a team sport. There are only so many hours in a day. I’m very sorry that after a long ass work week and with a PPV tonight that I opted to actually enjoy myself this afternoon rather than spend the free part of my Saturday writing a Hit List. I’m already giving up my Friday nights to cover Smackdown live. I’d like to have a little time outside of work if that’s okay with you.
Why do you take things so personally damn you’re childish. Have somebody else write the hitlist then, genius.
Because you insinuated that I play favorites for one company over another. That’s insulting to anyone in my position. As far as having one of the staffers do it, understandably, no one is jumping out of their chair and offering to do weekend work.
I’ll do it then.
