World Series Wrestling “MegaMania Melbourne”
November 1, 2026, in Melbourne, Australia, at the Melbourne Pavilion
Released November 8, 2026, on YouTube.com

This was the fourth night of a five-stop, one-week tour. I already reviewed the tour’s October 31 show. This venue is a large nightclub. The lighting was okay, and the crowd was maybe 800, and they were hot and into everything.

* Brian Cage came to the ring, and he had a title belt around his waist. He noted this is his final tour of Australia, which got some boos. Who will he face in his final match for the Australian Title? NOPE, he is going to relinquish the title! However, he’s “cashing in the belt” to get a shot at the WSW title! (Sounds exactly like TNA’s “Option C.”)

1. Andrade El Idolo vs. Matt Riddle. Andrade did his best Naito impersonation, taking forever to disrobe. They shook hands, and we got a bell. Standing switches to open. Riddle’s trunks are ridiculously small. Andrade got a quick rollup that surprised Matt! They got into a knuckle lock and a test of strength. Matt went for an RKO at 2:30, but Andrade pushed him away. They both relaxed in the ropes but then locked up again. Andrade hit a top-rope flying crossbody block for a nearfall at 4:30. Riddle applied a cross-armbreaker in the ropes.

Riddle flew off the top rope, but Andrade dropped him with a forearm strike. Andrade hit a split-legged moonsault for a nearfall at 6:00. On the floor, Andrade dropped Matt face-first on the apron. He paused to pose with young women in the front row. (One requested and received a peck on the cheek.) In the ring, Andrade hit an Irish Whip, and Matt sold the pain of the move. Andrade missed a Meteora; Riddle immediately hit a series of roundhouse kicks to the chest and an Exploder Suplex.

Riddle climbed the ropes, but Andrade tripped him, and Matt fell to the canvas at 9:00. Andrade was now able to hit the Meteora for a nearfall. They got up and traded forearm strikes. Matt nailed a jumping knee, a pop-up knee strike, then a German Suplex for a nearfall at 10:30. Riddle mimicked Randy Orton as he hit a DDT out of the ropes, and he pounded on the mat and went for an RKO, but Andrade blocked it. Andrade hit the hard back elbow and his DM double-arm twisting neckbreaker for the pin. I really liked that.

Andrade El Idolo defeated Matt Riddle at 11:44.

2. Myla Grace vs. Cassie Lee vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Zoey Serrano in a four-way for the WSW Women’s Title. Myla rolled to the floor before the bell, but Cassie grabbed her and threw her back in, and we’re underway! Zoey and Shayna hit some team moves on Myla. Those two hugged before tying up, and they traded rollups. Cassie jumped on them and tried to steal a pin. Cassie chopped Zoey, who no-sold it. She tried some more, but Serrano just looked amused by the blows. The crowd let Cassie know she messed up here. Zoey dropped Cassie with one LOUD, hard chop at 3:30. Funny exchange.

Myla jumped on Shayna’s back and tried a sleeper; Shayna acted more annoyed than concerned. She clocked Myla with a punch, then stomped on Grace’s left elbow. Those two brawled on the floor. Zoey and Cassie also left the ring and fought on the entrance ramp. Zoey and Cassie finally got back into the ring at 7:30, and Cassie applied a half-crab. However, Shayna grabbed Cassie and applied a rear-naked choke. Zoey accidentally struck Shayna! Her face made it clear she regretted doing that. Myla tried getting a cover on each opponent and was livid she was unsuccessful!

Serrano was on the bottom of a Tower of Doom, and everyone was down at 10:00. Zoey and Shayna traded German Suplexes. Zoey hit a rolling DVD. Shayna hit a running knee on Myla. Lee hit a uranage on Shayna. Zoey hit a shoulder-breaker over her knee on Cassie. Shayna tied up Myla’s legs while she also applied a sleeper on Cassie! Zoey struck Shayna to break that up. Shayna slammed Grace for the pin! New champion! HOWEVER, Zoey also had tied up Cassie, who was tapping out, but the ref didn’t see that! Zoey protested that she won first!

Shayna Baszler defeated Myla Grace, Cassie Lee, and Zoey Serrano in a four-way to win the WSW Women’s Title at 11:57.

* Shayna and Zoey shook hands and hugged, even though Serrano clearly wasn’t happy.

3. Ryusei vs. Mitch Waterman. I’ve seen Mitch at least twice before; he’s white with dark hair, thin, with a good physique. Ryusei has wavy blondish hair. Standing switches to open as they twisted each other’s left arms. Mitch hit a huracanrana, then a plancha at 2:00. In the ring, Ryusei hit a stunner. He planted his foot in Mitch’s throat and took control. Mitch hit a missile dropkick at 3:30, and they were both down.

They got up and traded punches. Mitch hit a Sling Blade clothesline. Mitch hit a stunner for a nearfall. He hit a dropkick that sent Ryusei into the corner. Ryusei hit a suplex for a nearfall at 5:30. Mitch hit an enzuigiri. Ryusei hit a Michinoku Driver for a nearfall. Ryusei hit a twisting Angle Slam for the pin! That wrapped up suddenly!

Ryusei defeated Mitch Waterman at 6:38.

4. “The Good Brothers” Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. “Los Tranquilos de Japon” Tetsuya Naito and Bushi for the WSW Tag Team Titles. Karl and Naito opened. We had the bell, but they were playing to the crowd and hadn’t touched. Naito slapped him on the head at 3:00 for the first official contact of the match, so Karl kicked him. All four brawled to the floor, with Gallows pairing off with Naito, while Karl battled Bushi. The Brothers pushed Naito back into the ring, and Karl got a nearfall at 6:30. Karl kept Naito grounded in a headlock.

This crowd was HOT, considering it’s actually been pretty light on action. Naito hit a basement dropkick on Karl, then a swinging neckbreaker for a nearfall at 8:30. Karl hit a spinebuster on Naito for a nearfall. Karl blocked Naito’s tornado DDT. Seconds later, Naito was able to hit a springboard tornado DDT. Bushi and Gallows tagged in at 10:30. Bushi rolled to the floor and taunted Gallows. He was able to crotch Gallows on the top rope. Gallows punched him, but Bushi hit a low-blow kick as he fell to the mat. Bushi hit a headbutt to the groin, too!

Gallows splashed Bushi in a corner at 12:30. He tossed Naito to the floor. Bushi accidentally sprayed green mist in the ref’s eyes! Bushi hit another low-blow uppercut on Gallows! He got a rollup for a visual pin, but we had no ref! Gallows hit a buzzsaw kick and got a visual pin at 14:00. A new ref jumped in and made a two-count. Naito jumped back in, but the Brothers hit a team neckbreaker, then the Magic Killer, with Gallows pinning Naito. The crowd was totally into that.

“The Good Brothers” Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson defeated “Los Tranquilos de Japon” Tetsuya Naito and Bushi to retain the WSW Tag Team Titles at 15:11.

5. Sammy Guevara vs. Moose vs. Ricky Sosa in a three-way for the vacant WSW Australian Title. Sammy pushed the other two together. Sosa and Moose hit stereo knees on Sammy, who rolled to the floor. Moose and Ricky shook hands, then traded punches. Moose dropped him with a shoulder tackle. Sosa hit a dropkick at 1:00. Moose hit a dropkick! Sammy hit a top-rope crossbody block on Moose, then a dropkick! He kipped up and celebrated. Sammy hit a moonsault press on a standing Sosa.

Sosa hit a modified powerslam on Sammy. Sosa hit a huracanrana on Moose at 3:00. Sosa hit a swinging neckbreaker on Guevara. Moose hit a uranage on Sammy, then a senton. These guys are going at a breakneck speed! Sammy dove onto Moose, but Moose caught him and powerbombed him onto the ring frame! Sosa dove onto Moose. Sammy hit a superkick on Sosa, then an Athena-style flying stunner for a nearfall at 5:00. Sammy superkicked Moose. He sat on the top turnbuckle, but Moose hit a leaping dropkick to Sammy’s chest!

Sosa hit a mid-ring Spanish Fly on Moose for a nearfall. Moose hit a superplex on Sosa, but Sammy hit a frog splash on Moose for a believable nearfall at 7:00. They all got to their knees and traded punches. Moose hit a headbutt on Sammy, then a top-rope crossbody block on Sammy. Sammy got a huracanrana on Moose and a Canadian Destroyer on Sosa for a nearfall at 8:30! This has been incredible action. Sammy missed a Swanton Bomb. Moose cut Sammy in half with a spear. Sosa got a flash rollup for the clean pin on Moose. It will be tough to find a sub-10-minute match better than that. WOW.

Ricky Sosa defeated Sammy Guevara and Moose in a three-way to win the vacant WSW Australian Title at 9:19.

6. Henare vs. Caveman Ugg. I first saw Ugg when he was in a PWG BOLA in 2019, losing to Brody King in the first round; think a mix of Beastman, Big Damo and Ivar. Cagematch.net shows this is just his second match of 2026! (I knew he wasn’t active anymore, but I didn’t expect so few matches!) They charged at each other at the bell and immediately traded forearm strikes! No wrist-locks here! They traded shoulder blocks with neither man budging. Henare hit a stiff kick to the spine. Ugg dropped him with a shoulder tackle at 1:30. Henare missed a spin kick, and they had a standoff.

They took turns allowing each other to hit chops. Ugg chopped the ref at 4:00, who collapsed to the mat. Good humor. Ugg helped up the ref, but he encouraged Henare to chop the ref! No, Henare hit more chops on Ugg instead. Henare hit a Samoan Drop for a nearfall at 5:30. Henare hit a senton for a nearfall. They traded more punches. Ugg hit a fallaway slam at 8:00, and he splashed onto Henare for a nearfall. He hit a second splash for a nearfall. He hit a pump kick to the sternum for a nearfall at 10:00.

Ugg missed a moonsault. Henare hit a spinning leg lariat. They fought on the ropes in the corner. Henare hit a headbutt and a second-rope superplex. Ugg hit a shoulder tackle, so Henare hit one. They traded clotheslines. Ugg hit a uranage for a nearfall at 13:00. Ugg hit a release Razor’s Edge powerbomb for a nearfall. They traded clotheslines. Ugg hit a headbutt that rocked Henare, but Henare hit a harder headbutt, collapsed onto Ugg, and scored the pin. That topped my expectations; that was a fun big-man war.

Henare defeated Caveman Ugg at 14:31.

7. Killer Kross (w/Scarlett Bordeaux) vs. Brian Cage for the WSW Title. They traded shoulder blocks until Kross knocked him down. Cage clotheslined them both to the floor at 1:30, and they traded chops at ringside. Cage slammed Kross face-first through a door bridge on the floor at 4:00! They got in the ring, where Kross dropped him with a punch. He grabbed a garbage can and slammed it on Brian’s back a couple of times. Cage hit a 619 at 6:00, and he celebrated. (You don’t see men of his size doing that move!)

They got to their knees and traded forearm strikes, and more while standing. Kross hit a Diamond Cutter at 7:30. Cage hit an enzuigiri in the corner and a German Suplex. They continued to trade punches. Scarlett pushed a door into the ring, and Kross set it in the corner. Kross hit an Exploder Suplex onto the door in the corner at 10:30, and he eventually got a nearfall. Cage whipped Kross head-first into a chair wedged in the corner at 12:00, then he hit a pumphandle slam, dropping Kross almost on his head.

Some music played! Andrade came out, dressed in a suit. However, Matt Riddle attacked Andrade, and several officials had to separate them. In the ring, Kross hit a Saito Suplex, and he locked in the Kross-Jacket sleeper on the mat! The referee checked Cage, determined he was out, and called for the bell. Good match, and the distraction gave Cage an ‘out’ for losing. I’m sure it led to matches on the final night of the tour.

Killer Kross defeated Brian Cage to retain the WSW Title at 13:15.

* Sure enough, Cage got on the mic and said that finish was “bullshit.” Cage wants a four-way on the final night of the tour!

Final Thoughts: A deeply satisfying show with lots of great action. The Sosa-Guevara-Moose three-way was fantastic and my favorite here. I didn’t expect to have Ugg-Henare second, but that was a war. The main event takes third, just ahead of Andrade-Riddle, which earns honorable mention. The women’s four-way was action-packed. I didn’t care much for the Naito/Bushi-Good Brothers match, but they milked the crowd and had them reacting to every little thing they did. A free show well worth checking out.
