There is far more good indy wrestling out there than I can watch. So, in this review, I’m popping in on multiple recent indy shows and watching just a few matches from each show that interest me. The reality is that I wasn’t going to get to watch every match from every one of these shows! I picked out matches with top names we’ve seen on TV, some top indy names, and WWE ID prospects.
* In this roundup, I picked out ten matches from across seven different recent indy shows.
Warrior Wrestling “Rumble at Rhinegeist 4” at the Rhinegeist Brewery in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 30, 2026 (free on YouTube)
This venue is a large storage area at the brewery, and the crowd was perhaps 500. The lights were on, and it was easy to see. This video file is just one match, not the entire show. As has been the case for the past few years, there is NO commentary. I can’t stress enough how HUGE this space is for a small brewery I’ve never heard of.
Jon Moxley and Kris Statlander vs. Lance Archer and Tootie Lynn. Kris was a late replacement for Marina Shafir. Archer came out first and ripped the crowd to get boos. Huge pops for both Moxley and Kris. The women opened and tied up on the mat. Kris hit a bodyslam, tossing Tootie stomach-first to the mat. She executed a delayed vertical suplex. This crowd was going NUTS for everything! Kris tried a crossbody block on Archer, but she just fell to the mat, and he laughed at her. She did it again; same result. The crowd chanted, “One more time!” She tried a top-rope crossbody block, but this time, Lance caught her.
Moxley tagged in at 4:00, backed Lance into a corner, and hit some punches and chops. Kris hit a rolling cannonball from the apron to the floor on Tootie. Archer and Moxley also fought on the floor. (We got a split-screen, showing the two simultaneous fights.) They all got back into the ring at 5:30, with the babyfaces hitting punches in the corner and the crowd counting along. Tootie hit a running knee on Kris for a nearfall. Statlander fired back with a series of chops. Archer dropped Kris with a crossbody block at 7:00. Massive boos for that!
Moxley tagged back in and traded forearm strikes with Archer. He hit some clotheslines, but Lance didn’t go down. He jumped on Archer’s back and applied a rear-naked choke. Moxley applied a cross-armbreaker on the mat, but Tootie stomped on Jon at 9:00 to break it up. Lance knocked Jon off the apron to the floor. In the ring, Lance dropped Moxley with a hard clothesline. He scooped up Tootie and bodyslammed her onto Moxley, and Lance got a nearfall. The heels worked Moxley over in their corner. Tootie choked him in the ropes, and Lance planted his foot in Jon’s throat.
Archer set up for his Blackout (modified Razor’s Edge) finisher, but Jon escaped and hit a DDT. Kris got a hot tag at 12:00, and she hit some running kicks in the corner, then a Blue Thunder Bomb for a nearfall. Lance set up for a powerbomb on Kris, but Jon ran over and bit Lance on the forehead. Tootie repeatedly slapped Jon across the face, earning a “You f—ed up!” chant. He hit a stunner on Lynn! Archer clotheslined Jon. The babyfaces took turns clotheslining Archer in the corner. Kris got underneath him and went for a powerbomb, but her legs gave out. Moments later, she got Lance across her shoulders and hit a DVD! LOUD POP! Moxley dove through the ropes onto Archer. Meanwhile, Kris hit a scoop Tombstone Piledriver on Lynn for the pin. That was great action.
Jon Moxley and Kris Statlander defeated Lance Archer and Tootie Lynn at 16:05.
Produce Wrestling “Volume 3: Azucar” at Pioneer Works in New York, New York, on August 3, 2026 (free on YouTube)
Like the Warrior Wrestling match above, this is JUST one match, not the entire show. The lights were low, but the ring was really well-lit. The canvas was splotchy red from some bloody matches earlier. Gross.
Rocky Romero vs. Mistico. A cautious feeling-out process early on, and they got into a knuckle lock and had a standoff at 1:30. They sped it up, and each got a nearfall and had another standoff. They fought to the floor, then got back into the ring, and Rocky was in charge. Romero nailed a stiff kick to the spine at 4:00, and he shook his hips to generate some boos. Rocky tied him in the Tree of Woe and hit some spin kicks to the chest while Mistico was upside-down. They hit stereo clotheslines and were both down at 6:00.
Mistico hit a springboard armdrag, then a dive through the ropes, and they were both down. Back in the ring, Mistico hit a huracanrana. Romero dove through the ropes onto Mistico on the floor at 8:00. Back in the ring, they traded forearm strikes and chops. Mistico hit a Canadian Destroyer, and they were both down at 10:00. Mistico went for a moonsault, but Rocky got his feet up and grazed Mistico. Mistico hit a powerslam for a nearfall. Rocky hit a ‘Dudebuster’ piledriver along his back for a nearfall at 11:30; commentator Tom Lawlor noted that Rocky was paying tribute to teammate Trent Beretta with that move.
Rocky hit another bodyslam and went to the top turnbuckle, but Mistico jumped up there and hit a top-rope Spanish Fly for a nearfall. Romero shoved the ref out of the way. He yanked off Mistico’s mask and rolled him up. The ref saw it and refused to count. He gave Romero a ‘yellow card’ for cheating. Mistico was stomach-first on the mat, and he found the mask and put it back on. He applied the La Mistica (Fujiwara Armbar), and Romero frantically tapped out. Played out as expected, but it was fun.
Mistico defeated Rocky Romero at 13:46.
Chaotic Wrestling “A Haunting in Tewksbury 6” at the Elks Lodge #2070 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, on October 23, 2026 (free on YouTube)
Chaotic has good production values and a nice entrance stage. This small room is packed, but the crowd was only 150.
“The Breadwinners” Cash McGuiness and Patrick Wheatman vs. “Miracle Generation” Dustin Waller and Kylon King for the CW Tag Team Titles. M-Gen snuck in from behind and attacked them. Kylon grabbed the mic and vowed they would become champions. We got the bell at 00:19. Wheatman dove through the ropes onto Kylon. Kylon crotched Cash around the ring post. In the ring, King hit a gutbuster over his knee on Wheatman for a nearfall at 2:00. M-Gen kept the red-headed Wheatman on the mat and stomped on him. King hit a backbreaker over his knee for a nearfall at 4:00. Waller slowed him on the mat in a headlock.
Cash finally got a hot tag at 6:00, and he hit some clotheslines. He hit a stunner on Dustin and a Code Red on King for a nearfall. Wheatman suplexed Waller at 7:30. King hit an enzuigiri on Cash. Waller hit a Lethal Injection on Cash. Waller and Cash got up and traded forearm strikes. Wheatman jumped in and traded strikes with King. Cash hit a swinging headplant move on King and a superkick on Waller, then a stunner on Dustin for the pin. Good action.
“The Breadwinners” Cash McGuiness and Patrick Wheatman defeated “Miracle Generation” Dustin Waller and Kylon King to retain the CW Tag Team Titles at 12:04/official time of 11:45.
Tyree Taylor vs. Ichiban for the CW Title. A lockup to open; Tyree is bigger, and he backed Ichiban into the corner. Ichiban leapt on Tyree’s back and applied a sleeper, but Tyree shrugged free. Ichiban re-applied it, then he hit some pump kicks and an enzuigiri at 1:30. He backed Tyree into his corner and hit his “One!” punches as the crowd counted along. Tyree dropped him throat-first on the top rope. He stepped across Ichiban’s sternum at 3:00 (and he’s no small man!), then hit a backbreaker over his knee.
Ichiban went for a crossbody block, but Tyree caught him and hit a fallaway slam for a nearfall at 4:30. Tyree hit a punt kick to the ribs as Ichiban was on all fours. Ichiban got up and hit some forearm strikes, but Tyree ducked a 619. Ichiban locked in a front guillotine choke. They fought to the floor, with Tyree in charge. Ichiban hit a spin kick. He dove through the ropes onto Tyree at 7:30, then performed another dive over the top rope. Ichiban hit a frog splash from the top rope onto Tyree, who was lying on the thin mat at ringside! Ouch! Ichiban rolled him into the ring and hit a Shadows Over Hell splash to the back and got a nearfall at 9:00.
Ichiban set up for a move, but Tyree caught him and hit a powerslam. Ichiban hit an enzuigiri and a leaping stunner, then a second-rope fadeaway stunner at 10:30. He got Tyree on his shoulders and hit a Death Valley Driver for a nearfall! He nailed three consecutive superkicks and a Canadian Destroyer! However, Ichiban sold pain in his knee. He nailed the leaping Ichiban Kai (Flatliner) for a visual pin, but Jose Zamora appeared and pulled the ref to the floor! Ichiban dove onto Jose on the floor. However, as he got back into the ring, Tyree hit a discus clothesline and the Brooklyn Zoo powerbomb for the pin. That was really good.
Tyree Taylor defeated Ichiban to retain the CW Title at 12:39.
Pro Wrestling Symphony “Corruption” at 6th & Peabody in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 16, 2026 (IWTV)
This was an outdoor show in what appears to be a pretty good business district with restaurants in the background. It was nighttime, but the ring was really well lit. The crowd was maybe 150. The production quality is really good, not just the lighting.
“Royal Prestige” Majestic and Tevon Jordyn vs. “Top Team” Terry Yaki and Jay Lucas for the PWS Tag Team Titles AND the Action Tag Team Titles. Yes, this is a title-versus-title match, winner takes all! Top Team attacked, and we’re underway. They hit a team suplex on Majestic (green-and-yellow pants), with Jay getting a nearfall. In the ring, Top Team hit a team powerbomb on Majestic for the pin! WOW, I assumed this was going to go to a draw or double DQ!
“Top Team” Terry Yaki and Jay Lucas defeated “Royal Prestige” Majestic and Tevon Jordyn to WIN the PWS Tag Team Titles AND retain the Action Tag Team Titles at 10:08.
Colby Carter vs. Adrian Thomas vs. Tim Bosby (w/Dylan Hales) for the PWS Title. This was the main event. I’ve noted that the bald Carter has a lot of tattoos, and he reminds me a lot of Ricochet. Thomas gives off longer-haired Booker T vibes. Bosby rolled to the ground at the bell and was booed. Colby followed, hit some punches, and threw him back into the ring. The babyfaces took turns punching Tim. Thomas hit a splash in the corner. The babyfaces took turns punching Bosby in the gut as he was draped on the ropes. They hit stereo dropkicks to send Bosby to the floor at 2:00.
Adrian and Colby finally locked up; the commentators said they didn’t think these two had locked up in PWS before. They traded armdrags and had a standoff. Colby grounded Adrian in a headlock. Bosby got in, charged, but flew over the top rope, and was right back on the ground at 4:00. Adrian and Colby traded more punches, and Carter hit a DVD for a nearfall. He hit a plancha, but he struck Hales. Bosby threw Adrian into the ring post and dove back into the ring! He struck Carter across the forehead with the title belt and scored the pin! New champion! The crowd was aghast!
Tim Bosby defeated Colby Carter and Adrian Thomas to win the PWS Title at 11:00.
NWA “Bloodlines: Season 28, Episode 9,” aired the week of October 25, 2026 (Comettv.com or Tubi.com).
I have been scrolling through the NWA episodes recently to see if anyone catches my eye.
Colby Corino vs. Kerry Morton. Kerry had a nice heel run in GCW, and Colby is back after a pretty serious neck injury that required surgery. A feeling-out process early on. Corino hit a flying forearm in the corner. Morton flipped into the ring and did a strut. Corino took control; Morton tried calling for a timeout. They brawled to the floor at 2:00, and Morton was in charge. He whipped Colby shoulder-first into the ring steps. Back in the ring, Morton was in charge, and he stomped on Colby. Morton ripped off a turnbuckle at 4:30, and they went to commercial. [C]
Back from the break, they traded forearm strikes. Kerry stood behind Corino and twisted his neck. He hit a slingshot suplex for a nearfall. He set up for a package piledriver, but Colby escaped and hit a back-body drop. Colby set up for a package piledriver, but he turned it into a backbreaker over his knee at 6:30. Kerry hit a running knee to the spine, rolled up Colby and grabbed a handful of tights for the tainted pin.
Kerry Morton defeated Colby Corino at 8:09.
Iron Heart Pro “Melting Point” in Hudson, Wisconsin, on June 20, 2026 (IWTV)
This venue is narrow; the ring was pushed up against one wall. There are perhaps 80 people seated across from the hard camera, and perhaps 125 total. The lights were on, and it’s easy to see.
Blair Onyx vs. Sierra. Two of my favorites; earlier this week, I watched Sierra in Chicago’s AAW while I saw Blair in St. Louis-based Glory Pro. Blair was immediately talking to the invisible voices, “Source,” that she hears. The heel commentator complained that this was a handicap match. Sierra (again, think Dani Luna) is bigger, and she pushed Onyx into a corner. Basic reversals early on. Blair got up on all fours (like Bray Wyatt), looking creepy, and Sierra bailed at 3:00. Back in the ring, Sierra hit a back suplex for a nearfall. Sierra hit a snap suplex for a nearfall at 4:30.
Sierra tied up Blair and kept her grounded. Blair fired up and hit a clothesline and a running stunner for a nearfall at 7:30. They traded rollups. Blair nailed a Gotch-style Piledriver for a nearfall; the commentators were surprised by the kickout. Sierra nailed a Backpack Stunner for a nearfall at 9:00, and they were both down. They got up and traded forearm strikes. Sierra hit a fisherman’s suplex for a nearfall, then a senton for a nearfall. Sierra hit a stunner; Blair leaned backwards but creepily pulled herself back up. Onyx hit a Flatliner and tied her in a Muta Lock! Sierra tapped out!
Blair Onyx defeated Sierra at 11:36.
Dante Leon vs. Isaiah Moore for the Hybrid Title. Moore had the best match on that AAW show I referenced in the prior match. He came out first, and he’s the heel. It’s been a few months since I’ve seen the tie-dye-wearing Leon. A feeling-out process early on. Leon nailed a flying shoulder tackle at 1:30, sending Moore to the floor to regroup. In the ring, Leon hit a hard back elbow that again sent Moore to the floor. They brawled on the floor. Leon sat him in the front row and chopped Moore in the chest.
Leon looped the ring and hit a running boot as Moore was still seated. Leon threw Moore back into the ring at 4:00, but Isaiah hit a leaping Russian leg sweep, and he paused to pose. Moore backed him into a corner and hit some chops. He hit a dropkick and jawed at the crowd before making a cover. Leon applied a Figure Four, but Moore quickly got to the ropes at 6:30. Leon now took a break on the floor; he got back in, but Moore stomped on him and kept him grounded.
Moore charged but crashed into a corner. Leon immediately stomped on his back, then hit a top-rope Swanton Bomb onto Moore’s back for a nearfall at 9:30. Moore hit a Pele Kick for a nearfall. He ducked a spin kick and hit a Death Valley Driver, then a frog splash for a believable nearfall at 11:00. Leon hit a pop-up stunner, and this time he nailed the spin kick to the head. He hit his cartwheel-style slam and scored the pin! Good action.
Dante Leon defeated Isaiah Moore to retain the Hybrid Title at 11:52.
Primal Pro “Meltdown” at McGuffies Tavern in San Diego, California, on November 1, 2026 (free on YouTube)
This venue is a dark tavern. Lighting isn’t ideal; it would turn me off from watching the entire show. Maybe 200 were watching.
Brittnie Brooks vs. Billie Duprix. My first time seeing Duprix (and she does NOT have a cagematch.net bio yet); she is a white woman with short brown hair, and she wore a blue one-piece that is NASCAR-themed gear. Brooks is the heel; she jawed at the crowd and gave fans the middle finger. Basic tie-ups early on, and Brittnie complained that Billie pulled her hair. Duprix hit a huracanrana at 2:00 and a sunset flip for a nearfall. Duprix hit a Meteora in the corner and a powerbomb, so Billie rolled to the floor to regroup (and scream!)
Back in the ring, Brooks slammed Billie’s left arm onto the canvas and took control. Billie went for a running knee, but Brooks blocked it. Brooks hit a snap suplex for a nearfall at 5:30, and she barked at the ref. She tied Duprix in a top hammerlock. They got up and traded forearm strikes. Duprix hit an X-Factor for a nearfall at 7:00. She hit a running stunner and tied Brooks in a modified Camel Clutch on the mat, but Brittnie reached the ropes.
Billie hit a running knee to the face in the corner, then an Angle Slam for a nearfall at 9:00. They traded superkicks, and they hit stereo clotheslines and were both down. They traded overhand chops while on their knees. They got up and traded forearm strikes. Brooks nailed the “It’s Brittnie Bitch” (Eye of the Hurricane swinging slam) for the pin. Decent action; I assume Duprix hasn’t had many matches, but she held her own here.
Brittnie Brooks defeated Billie Duprix at 10:59.
Final Thoughts: I’ve said this before — this would have made for a heckuva 10-match show. That Moxley/Statlander-Archer/
Four indy shows in their entirety, plus the NWA program is 45 minutes, and two single-file matches; the reality is watching all of that is perhaps 13 hours… thus why I picked out these 10 bouts to take in.
