By John Moore, ProWrestling.net Staffer (@liljohnm)

TNA Impact (Episode 1,154)
Taped October 13-14, 2026, in Dothan, Alabama, at the Dothan Civic Center
Simulcast on November 5, 2026, on AMC, AMC+, and TNA+

“Highlights” aired from last week’s Slaughterhouse Syx Match. At the end of the highlights, Hannifan asked “What is the extent of the damage done to Jeff Hardy? Will he be the same after the Slaughterhouse Syx Match?”. The then aired a hype video for the upcoming “Champions Challenge” match where Leon Slater and Amazing Red will challenge Nic and Ryan Nemeth for the TNA Tag Team Championships. The TNA intro theme aired…

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt were on commentary. McKenzie Mitchell was the ring announcer…

Moose made his entrance. Moose said that Matt Hardy told him early today that he hasn’t been himself. Moose noted that Matt said he hated that old Moose, but Moose needs to get back to his old self. Moose said he now understands what’s next for Moose. He said the fans have followed him his entire career and seen him help TNA get to where it is today. He said the fans and his family all know that when people put him down they pray to God he doesn’t get back up because when Moose gets up “Payback’s a bitch”.

Moose said he’s a very petty S.O.B. and he’s going to get their ass better than they got him. Moose then called out Syx and called them the unluckiest guys in the locker room because Moose is laser focused on them. Moose said their ass is next. Moose pointed out how he was the first person they laid out backstage. Moose said that Syx called TNA, his home, a cancer and disease. Moose said then that must mean he’s a disease because he’s the face of the franchise.

Moose called Syx a couple of bitch asses and asked that they come out so he can whoop their asses. Syx made their entrance with the fans doing the Wyatt firefly thing with their cellphone flashlights. Syx entered the ring and easily beat down Moose due to the numbers advantage. Matt Hardy then made his entrance with a pipe in hand. Syx backed down to ringside while Moose and Matt stood their ground in the ring…

Leon Slater and Amazing Red were backstage. Red thanked the fans for making him a Hall of Famer and giving him a chance to bring back the total nonstop action that TNA is all about. Red said he wouldn’t want anyone else to help him bring back that fire, other than Leon Slater. Slater said that Red laid the blueprint that everyone follows til this day, and he’s honored to be teaming with Red to face The Nemeths.

Slater brought up the big battle he and Nic Nemeth had at Bound for Glory. Trey Miguel cut in and teased a little tension with Slater. Miguel said he’ll be on commentary during Slater’s tag title match…

Hannifan hyped upcoming segments…[c]

John’s Thoughts: Simply put, it looks like Moose will be filling in for the role of Jeff Hardy while he’s “dead” (which will presumably last through the end of the Canada TV tapings).

An ad aired for TNA Destination X…

Tom Hannifan plugged the iamals.org/rebel site…

“The S.U.I.T.” Daria Rae was trying to avoid her handler, Brian Johnson, backstage. Brian told Daria that it’s literally his job to follow her around. They ran into Indi Hartwell. Brian tried to introduce himself to Indi, but Daria cut him off, saying “Shut up, I’m talking”. Indi mocked Daria for being punished due to Daria punching her. Daria mocked Indi for getting beaten up by Shayna Baszler.

Indi said she actually wishes Daria were her opponent at Destination X, but Daria can’t because she’s weak and an insecure witch. Brian held Daria back from getting in Indi’s face. Brian reminded Daria that she’d be suspended again if she attacks talent. Indi joked that Daria needs to listen to her babysitter…

Frankie Kazarian and Avery Styles made their entrance. Their opponents, Hunter James and Alexander Lev, were “already in the ring”. Mustafa Ali joined the commentary team for the next match, continuing to argue that the youth are trying to take advantage of the veterans and stab them in the back…

1. Frankie Kazarian and Avery Styles vs. Hunter James and Alexander Lev. James worked on Avery with methodical strikes early on. Styles came back with a dropkick. Frankie tagged in and hit James with a Blockbuster for a two count. Lev tagged in and got hit by Frankie’s hip toss. Styles tagged in and got a two count on Lev after a forearm. After a distraction from James, Lev and James were able to cut the ring in half on Styles with quick tags.

They also used tandem offense on him while he was stuck in the Tree of Woe. Styles turned the tide a bit with right hands, but was tackled into the corner. Styles rolled through both opponents and got the hot tag to Frankie. Frankie caught James and Lev with springboard leg drops. Style blind tagged in, which Ali didn’t like. Styles and Frankie hit Lev with a high low attacks. Styles hit Lev with the Spiral Tap for the win.

Avery Styles and Frankie Kazarian defeated Alexander Lev and Hunter James via pinfall in 4:46.

Avery was limping and having a hard time putting weight on his leg. Kazarian was about to raise his hand in victory, but Mustafa Ali got up with a mic and told Frankie to not raise the kid’s hand. Ali said that Frankie is not an idiot, unlike the fans in attendance. Ali said that Frankie is not an idiot like AJ Styles. As Ali was entering the ring, Kazarian dumped Ali back to ringside with a right hand. Frankie then held Avery’s arm in victory to end the segment…

John’s Thoughts: I hope Avery is okay because him having a hard time putting weight on his leg didn’t seem like it was a part of the storyline. I was a bit weary at first, but for now I’m okay with them starting from the bottom with the development of AJ’s kid. They’re not treating him like a worldbeater, which would hurt in the nepotism department. What has me even more reassured is the fact that Mustafa Ali is in this storyline. Ali is one of the best attention-to-detail storytellers in wrestling today, as we’ve seen through his consistency in the Order 4 story, so this Frankie-Avery connection can only benefit with Ali in their orbit. I also hope that they do focus on attention-to-detail, and that they ultimately connect Frankie Kazarian playing it straight only because Matt and Jeff Hardy told them that he doesn’t have to use the Call Your Shot trophy for a free title shot under the condition that Frankie play it straight.

Alisha Edwards yelled at Cedric Alexander and Brian Myers for playing on their phones and not being worried that Eddie Edwards and Bear Bronson are about to tear each other apart. Cedric reassured Alisha that it’s a normal thing for guys to fight it out and get it out of their system. Myers said this is necessary for The System to survive. Myers said it’ll be best if them three stay in the back to let them get their anger out of their system. Alisha walked off yelling “Fine!”…[c]

Entrance for the next match took place…

2. Bear Bronson vs. Eddie Edwards. Eddie and Bear jawed with each other to start the match, combined with some collar and elbow lockups. Bear no sold Eddie’s shoulder tackle and took him down with a shoulder tackle. Both men traded running strikes in the corner. Eddie hit Eddie with an overhead Back Suplex. Eddie met Bear at the top rope and hit him with a Frankensteiner. Bear blocked a Sunset Flip with a Banzai Drop heading into break.[c]

Back from break, Eddie managed to get the larger Bear Bronson into a Fireman Carry into a Samoan Drop. Bear backdropped Eddie to ringside. Bear then hit Eddie with a Suicide Dive. Eddie returned the favor with a Suicide Dive of his own. Bear reversed a Boston Knee Party with a Black Hole Slam. Both men beat the ten count at 9.

Bear and Eddie traded Boo Yay right hands. Bear then ate Eddie’s chops with Fighting Spirit. Bear no sold a superkick and hit Eddie with a Baldo Bomb. Eddie kicked out at one. The crowd wanted tables (I don’t!). Eddie hit Bear with a Super Sunset Bomb, but Bear no-sold it and took down Eddie with a clotheslines. Bear walked into a Clothesline from Eddie. E8ddie lowered the kneepad and then hit Bear with the Boston Knee Party for the win.

Eddie Edwards defeated Bear Bronson via pinfall in 7:22.

Cedric Alexander and Brian Myers walked out to make sure Bear and Eddie kept their cool. Eddie and Bear shook hands and hugged it out. The System raised their hands in unity to end the segment…

John’s Thoughts: Is it just me, or does it feel like Eddie is trying to be Death Rider Jon Moxley these days? I digress. Yes, Bear eats another loss, but he looked good in defeat and I felt like this match led to some good character and storyline development. I actually liked the seeds planted in the post-match as it sets the table for Bear, Brian, and Cedric to turn their backs on Eddie sometime in the foreseeable future. That’s where I think it’s heading, presumably with them getting a new male member in their ranks to supplant Eddie(which I hope will be a new and young talent). I also wouldn’t mind if Gabby Forza replaces Alisha Edwards once Eddie is excommunicated from the group, if only because it will kill one of my most hated gimmicks in pro wrestling, Gabby’s stupid gnome thing.

It was time for the TNA sponsored Injury Report. Jeff Hardy is “out indefinitely” with “head trauma and deep lacerations”. Hannifan said there is no timetable for Jeff’s return (LOL!). Avery Styles is “under evaluation” with an ankle injury. BDE and members TNA security are “out” due to getting attacked by Zero last week…

An ad aired for the “biggest Hardy Party Ever”. After the ad, Hannifan hyped upcoming segments…[c]

Brian Johnson was backstage filling out an “incident report”. Daria yelled at Brian that there wasn’t an incident today. Brian said he stopped a possible incident and he’s reporting it. Daria said it would look bad if he sent spam to the board of directors. Daria said she’s just looking out for him. Brian thanked her for looking out.

Santino showed up. Santino joked about Brian being Daria’s babysitter and that she can be a real mouthful. Brian took exception to Santino talking down to him. Santino continued to act condescending, ultimately patting Brian on his bald head before walking away. Daria said that Santino was being very rude. Daria acted sympathetic and said she doesn’t think Santino respects Brian…

Entrances for the next match took place. Tom Hannifan noted that this is the first time Shotzi has wrestled in a TNA ring in 7 years…

3. “Fire and Flava” Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz vs. Allie and Shotzi Blackheart. Shotzi and Tasha started the match jawing with each other. Tasha and Shotzi traded slaps. After a quick exchange, Shotzi took down Tasha with an Enzuigiri. Tasha tagged in Kiera after escaping a hold. Allie tagged in. Allie and Kiera yelled at each other about friendship.

Allie gave Kiera a corner splash and basement elbow for a two count. Kiera gave Allie a draping knee to the back after Tasha held her in place. Tasha came in with a snapmare for a two count. Kiera and Tasha used quick tags to cut the ring in half on Allie. Allie caught Kiera with a spear to allow her to tag in Shotzi.

Shotzi suplexed Kiera on Tasha in the corner. Shotzi hit both opponents with an inverted cannonball. Shotzi hit both opponents with a Suicide Dive (which thankfully hit cleanly). While Allie was arguing with the referee about their opponents double teaming, Kiera and Tasha used the distraction for tandem offense.

Allie brokeup Kiera’s pin on Shotzi. Allie and Shotzi put both opponents in Stereo Upside Downs in honor of rosemary. Allie caught Kiera with a Codebreaker. Shotzi hit Keira with a diving senton for the victory.

Shotzi Blackheart and Allie defeated Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz via pinfall in 7:11.

Kiera and Tasha put the boots to Allie and Shotzi after the match. Kiera then raised Tasha’s hand in victory…

John’s Thoughts: A good and well worked match. It made sense to put Shotzi over strong in her TNA return match. I don’t know why they booked Kiera and Tasha to lose in their return match as a tag team? Yes, they went with the old “get their heat back in the end” type of booking; but I thought they could have booked it where Shotzi and Allie beat up some local talent AND THEN have Kiera and Tasha get their heat after the match.

Backstage, Mila Moore was sitting in front of a makeup mirror. John Skyler showed up and wanted to chat with her, but she gave him the “we need to talk”. Mila then told Skyler that she’s breaking up with him because he’s a loser. She said she thought he’d stop being a loser by winning matches, but he keeps losing. She said Skyler was a disappointment and embarrassment. Mila walked away saying “ew”. Skyler gave Mila the “Mila. [but wait]”. Skyler then looked at the mirror and said “I love you”…

Hannifan said it was sheer heartbreak for Skyler. Hannifan then hyped upcoming segments…[c]

John’s Thoughts: It’s not to late John! Chew the blue pill! Joking aside, I got a good chuckle out of that mild soap opera segment. I hope this isn’t the blow off to this story as I think if they take their time it could lead to some fun character development for Skyler.

An ad aired for TNA’s Canada tapings…

It was time for the TNA “Rock Solid Moment of the Night”, sponsored by that well known blue colored and chewable boner pill. Highlights aired from the Eddie Edwards and Bear Bronson match…

M by Elegance apologized to Heather by Elegance for what has happened the last few weeks. She said her eyes were opened when Mr. Elegance walked out on them last week. She said she needs to make things up with Heather, especially since she’s been in the brand longer than M was. M said her PR agent hooked her up with a huge solo Magazine Cover gig.

M said it wouldn’t be fair if Heather wasn’t on the cover too, so she got them both on the cover of the fashion magazine. Heather said she liked that. The moment M walked off frame, Elayna Black walked in frame to tell Heather that she shouldn’t buy into that (it was weird because the camera man made it look like all three of them were in the same room). Heather argued that Black was stirring the pot again and she shouldn’t make her distrust her best friend.

Heather said she’ll ask Daria Rae for a match against Black. Black said she’s going to keep going after the TV title and if Heather won’t figure out that she’s being used, Elayna might need to beat some sense into Heather next week…

Vincent, Dutch, and Harley Hudson made their entrance for Harley’s “initiation ceremony”. Harley was dressed in white clothing. Vincent talked about Harley trying to find a place to belong, and now she’s standing with Vincent and Dutch. He then asked if Harley was willing to become righteous, leave her old life behind, and bloom into something greater. Harley said yes to all of those.

Vincent was about to put a plant crown on Harley (which kinda reminded me of the flower crown from the movie Midsommar) but Vincent stopped dutch. Vincent said since Harley made them wait, she would like her to recite what he was about to tell her. He told her to say “I am righteous, for we are many” two times. Vincent then made her recite “while you were making up your mind, someone else already did”. That drew oooo’s from the crowd.

Xia Brookside appeared in the ring and planted Harley with the Darkside DDT. Vincent said the mouse has been sacrificed to the snake. Vincent welcomed Xia to the cult as Dutch put the plant crown on Xia. They all then walked away with Dutch doing his disturbing tongue thing…

Tom Hannifan hyped the “Champion’s Challenger” for after the break…

John’s Thoughts: My advice to Xia, from the movie Midsommar, do not drink the pink lemonade. Or, since this is a cult with only two dudes, do not drink the extra yellow lemonade. Contaminated drink jokes aside, mixed thoughts on this development, but I’m intrigued. I was looking forward to Harley possibly shaking things up as a cult member? I also didn’t like that they foreshadowed this Xia joining heavily with her holding the Breaking Bad plant last week. That said, I’m intrigued to see where this leads. It reboots Xia which can lead to possibilities. The Righteous get a boost with a third and female member. I hope they somehow tie Harley into this and that it can lead to development to her and her tale.

A trailer aired for an Elayna Black “Immersed” documentary. She was shown as a young CM Punk fan growing up. She talked about going into her hitting rock bottom when she had an ectopic pregnancy, boyfriend breakup, dog dying, and getting fired from WWE. She said she’ll also go into how she jumped on the opportunity to make money on OnlyFans. Mustafa Ali talked about how OnlyFans is not really that much different from pro wrestling…

John’s Thoughts: Dang, an ectopic pregnancy is scary and no joke (it’s a pregnancy where the fertilized egg ends up escaping the Uterus to some random place in the hips, leading to potential blood rupture and death. Very high risk I hear). That trailer actually sold me on potentially checking it out. The TNA documentaries I’ve seen were well done. The Mike Santana one is good. My favorites were the Rosemary one and the Gisele Shaw one.

Hannifan ran through upcoming TNA live events…

Matt Hardy cut a promo backstage, saying Syx have crossed the line. Matt said Syx literally tried to kill Jeff Hardy, but thankfully he’s too hard to kill. Matt said Syx are in for a twist of fate. Moose cut in and said Syx didn’t know who they were messing with. Moose said he was once the most evil person in TNA and that’s what Syx is dealing with now. Moose said their asses are his. Matt said he went to Santino and got Matt and Moose vs. Syx booked where they will beat Syx’s ass…

John’s Thoughts: Welp, Jeff’s head can withstand instruments meant to break down metal doors. Ugh. We’re used to the Jeff Hardy writeoff in Canada cycle. Don’t force us to suspend our disbelief to stupidity by doing stuff that even Lucha Underground wouldn’t attempt.

Mustafa Ali vs. Frankie Kazarian and Moose vs. Sam Shaw was advertised for next week’s Impact…

Entrances for the next match took place. The Nemeths were wearing matching t-shirts to promote the movie that Ryan Nemeth is in. Trey Miguel joined the commentary team for the main event…

4. Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth vs. Leon Slater and Amazing Red for the TNA Tag Team Championships. Nic got a quick rollup on Red early on. Red flipped Nic with a wristhold and tagged in Slater who continued to work on Nic’s wrist. Nic managed to bring in Ryan who tackled Slater in the corner. Leon turned the tide on Nic and hit him with Ten Punches in the Corner.

Red tagged in and hit Nic with Ten Punches in the Corner. Red got a two count on Nic. The Nemeths regained control and worked on Red with punches in the corner. Red and Slater managed to dump The Nemeths to ringside. Red and Leon put the brakes on when the Nemeths rolled up the ramp to avoid flip dives.[c]

Tom Hannifan noted during the break that Red has the longest time between any title reign in TNA history. Trey randomly joked that Red better avoid eye pokes from Ryan Nemeth because Ryan’s fingers touch bare ass on the toilet and he might get pinkeye (I had to include that in my report for some reason).

Back from break, The Nemeths were cutting the ring in half on Red. Red slipped away from Ryan and brought in Leon for the hot tag. Leon hit Ryan with a Helicopter Argentine Toss. A distraction from Nic allowed Ryan to hit Leon with a Spike DDT for a nearfall. The Nemeths used quick tags to cut the ring in half on Leon. Trey continued to joke about Ryan potentially having poo poo on his fingers. Red tagged in and fended off both opponents with kicks.

Red rolled off Nic’s back for a roundhouse on Ryan. red hit Nic with a Satellite DDT for a nearfall. Nic escaped a Code Red attempt. Leon tagged in and hit Nic with a high crossbody. Ryan saved Nic from a double suplex. The Nemeths hit Red with a double team slam for a nearfall. Red used the ropes to block a Danger Zone. Slater dumped both opponents to ringside.

Ryan picked up the title belt at ringside. Slater hit Nic with a diving right hand. Red hit Nic with a diving STO. Ryan shoved Leon into the referee to break his count. REF BUMP!!! Ryan picked up the title belt and swatted Slater out of the air with the title belt. Red reversed Nic’s superkick into a rollup but the referee was bumped.

Red hit Nic with a nice basement Tornado Roundhouse. Red went for a Code Red, but Ryan Nemeth hit Red with the title belt while Red was on Nic’s back. Nic hit Red with the Danger Zone for the victory.

Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth defeated Amazing Red and Leon Slater via pinfall in 17:46 to retain the TNA Tag Team Championships.

Elijah ran out after the match. Elijah tried to hit Nic with the guitar, but Nic ducked away and ran up the ramp. Elijah and The Nemeths jawed at a distance to close the show…

John’s Thoughts: Ugh. So I wouldn’t have been so disgusted at the end of this match, if this EXACT finish didn’t happen in another show I reviewed less than a week ago. It was coincidence because it was taped, but I can’t take two TNA bad ref bump finishes in a row, here and at NXT Halloween Havoc. Did AJ Styles secretly book both matches (via AJ’s podcast, I know he’s producing NXT main events)? Side note, if AJ somehow succeeds Shawn Michaels as head booker of NXT, I really hope he doesn’t find a love for Jeff Jarrett’s goofy booking, and brings that to WWE (and this is the same man who has ranted in interviews how much he hated all the stupid TNA stuff).

I don’t think AJ booked this match, but I still roll my eyes at ref bump finishes given TNA’s proclivity to have them. Aside from that, I liked the match. The Nemeths are great bump machines. What was really cool was to see Red continue to always be in a flow state where he’s willing to do moves people haven’t thought of, even though he’s slowed things down. I just wish we pack up the Ref Bump finish and throw it in a volcano. Anyways, solid show in my opinion. Nothing earthshattering, but I like that they are setting some groundwork after what feels like a season finale in Bound for Glory.
