World Series Wrestling “MegaMania Adelaide”
Hindmarsh, Australia, at Adelaide Entertainment Centre
Streamed live on October 31, 2026, on YouTube.com

The venue is a small arena. The lighting and overall production quality are top-notch. There is a lot of room for wrestlers to fight at ringside; the front row feels far from the ring. The lights were turned on during a fight in the fourth match that spilled into the crowd, and it’s evident the crowd is 2,000 or more; it’s absolutely packed!

* Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux came out first. He said he hopes the main event tonight will be one-on-one. Right on cue, Tatsuya Naito emerged from the back, but he was joined by Bushi and Ryusei. Kross hit clotheslines on the lackeys as they tried to get into the ring. Naito spat in Kross’s direction but never got into the ring, and he headed to the back.

1. Ricky Sosa vs. Matt Riddle. This was Sosa’s WSW debut. They shook hands. Riddle went for an RKO just seconds in, but Sosa blocked it. Sosa dropped him with a shoulder tackle. Riddle hit a spin kick that dropped Ricky. Ricky hit a dropkick at 1:30, then a Northern Lights Suplex for a nearfall. Riddle hit a running Penalty Kick on the apron. In the ring, Ricky hit a running European Uppercut. Matt hit a gutwrench suplex at 3:30. He went for a senton, but Sosa got his knees up to block it.

Sosa hit a flying splash in the corner and an enzuigiri. The commentators marveled at Sosa’s size. Ricky hit a top-rope moonsault press, then a corner fadeaway back elbow for a nearfall at 4:30. Riddle hit a brainbuster, and they were both down. They got up, and Ricky hit some European Uppercuts while Matt hit some chops. Matt hit an Exploder Suplex, and this time he hit the senton, then a German Suplex for a nearfall at 6:00. Matt missed a moonsault. Sosa nailed a Blue Thunder Bomb for a nearfall.

Riddle hit a standing powerbomb and a running knee to the jaw for a believable nearfall at 7:30. Matt went for a top-rope twisting moonsault, but Sosa got his knees up to block it. Riddle hit a Canadian Destroyer! Riddle hit a second-rope Poison Rana, and they were both down. We got a “This is awesome!” chant. Riddle slammed Sosa, but Sosa caught him and bodyslammed Matt. Riddle came off the ropes, but Riddle caught him and applied a sleeper. Riddle hit an RKO stunner, then the top-rope twisting moonsault for the pin. That was pretty awesome.

Matt Riddle defeated Ricky Sosa at 10:06.

2. Shayna Baszler vs. Zoey Serrano. Yes, the TNA tag champs are fighting each other! They hugged at the bell, and the crowd popped for that. Zoey flexed, and they finally locked up. Shayna now flexed her muscles before they again locked up and traded standing switches. A commentator said this was “a friendly wrestling exhibition” as Shayna tied up an ankle. She teased stomping on Zoey’s elbow but stopped. Serrano dragged her to the mat in a headlock.

Serrano dropped her with a shoulder tackle. She flipped Baszler through the ropes to the floor. Zoey followed, but Shayna slammed her face-first on the apron. Shayna tied Zoey’s arm in the guardrail … and this time she stomped on it at 5:00! Zoey immediately sold the pain in her elbow. Shayna rolled her into the ring. Zoey hit some chops but was cradling her damaged left arm. Zoey got a flash rollup for the pin! (I rewound, and there might have been a short edit there. Weird.)

Zoey Serrano defeated Shayna Baszler at 6:25 of what was shown.

(The commentators noted that they briefly lost the internet connection, so the match was indeed longer than what was shown. We saw replays of what had been lost. Zoey hit a neckbreaker over her knee for the pin.)

3. Brian Cage vs. Bushi for the WSW Australian Title. A lockup, and Cage easily backed Bushi into the corner. The commentators marveled at the size difference. Cage dropped him with a shoulder tackle. The commentators said Cage had announced this was his “farewell tour in WSW.” (Interesting; is he planning to retire soon?) On the floor, Cage pushed Bushi into the ring steps, then slammed him onto the apron. They got back into the ring at 2:00, and Cage hit some shoulder thrusts to the ribs.

Cage held Bushi in his arms, did some arm curls, then hit a fallaway slam. He flexed before making a cover and getting a nearfall. Bushi tried some chops that had zero effect; the commentators didn’t think that was smart to do! Bushi went for a plancha, but Brian caught him and slammed him back-first against the ring post at 4:00. Back in the ring, Bushi dropkicked the knee and tied a leg in the ropes. Bushi tied him in a Trailer Hitch leg lock, but Cage reached the ropes at 5:30. Bushi hit another basement dropkick and a low blow.

Cage pushed Bushi into the ropes, but Bushi fell head-first for a second low blow. Bushi hit a second-rope huracanrana at 7:00. Cage hit a superkick and a 619. The crowd popped for Cage hitting that move! Cage accidentally hit a discus clothesline on the ref! Bushi got a magistral cradle for a visual pin, but we had no ref! Cage hit a sit-out powerbomb for a visual pin. Bushi hit a third low blow! A new ref made a two-count at 9:30, and they were both down. Cage flipped Bushi into the ring but made an arrogant cover and only got a nearfall. Bushi went for a poison mist, but Brian blocked it. Cage finally hit the Drill Claw piledriver for the pin. Good action.

Brian Cage defeated Bushi to retain the WSW Australian Title at 11:01.

* Brian got on the mic and noted it’s his farewell tour. The crowd chanted, “Thank you, Brian!” He said he first came to Australia in 2017. He put over WSW and the Australian fans, and said every wrestler in the United States wants to get on these tours. The commentators clarified that Cage is doing the other shows on this tour.

4. Henare and Andrade El Idolo vs. “The Good Brothers” Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson for the WSW Tag Team Titles. Andrade carried his AEW belt as well as the WSW Tag Team Title belt with him. Andrade posed for photos with some women in the front row. Karl went to get a pic from one of the women, but Andrade stopped him. That’s gimmick infringement! Andrade played with his hair, and the crowd immediately chanted “Bald!” at Karl. Funny. They finally got in the ring, and we got a bell. Doc and Henare immediately traded chops and forearm strikes; no feeling-out process here! Doc knocked him down with a shoulder tackle.

Karl tried some chops on Henare, but it hurt his own hand. Henare hit a senton on Anderson, and Andrade got a nearfall at 2:30. Andrade hit a top-rope crossbody block on Karl for a nearfall. They all brawled to the floor. They went deep into the crowd and far from the ring. (The building lights were turned on here, showing how huge this crowd is!) They finally got back into the ring at 8:00. Gallows and Henare brawled and collapsed. Karl and Andrade got the hot tags and brawled. Andrade hit a Meteora on Karl for a nearfall.

Andrade took off his pants, and the crowd cheered. Karl got a rollup for a nearfall, then a spinebuster for a nearfall at 10:00. Those two got up and traded punches. Andrade hit his hard back elbow for a nearfall, but Gallows made the save. Henare hit a flying headbutt that dropped Gallows, who rolled to the floor. Henare hit a running knee in the corner on Anderson, then a clothesline for a nearfall at 12:00. Gallows jumped in the ring and hit a spin kick on Henare. Henare unloaded punches on both guys. However, they hit the Magic Killer team slam and pinned Henare! New champions!

“The Good Brothers” Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson defeated Henare and Andrade El Idolo to win the WSW Tag Team Titles at 12:44.

* Gallows got on the mic and thanked the crowd.

* Intermission went 37 minutes. That’s just insanely long.

5. Matt Hayter vs. Sammy Guevara. Hayter has long blond hair; I’m not sure if I’ve seen him before. Sammy relaxed on the ropes in the corner. We finally got a bell, and they eventually tied up on the mat. Sammy applied a headlock to slow Hayter down. Hayter put a headlock on the mat for some comedy. The ref pushed free and hit a shoulder tackle that dropped Hayter. Massive pop for the silliness. The ref rolled up Hayter, and Sammy made a two-count. The ref rolled up Sammy, and Hayter made the two count. The ref hit a double clothesline, and he shook the top rope like he was the Ultimate Warrior, and the crowd chanted, “Holy shit!” Good humor.

Sammy kicked Hayter in the gut, and we’re back to a regular match. Sammy hit a dropkick at 5:30, kipped up and posed. The ref stopped Sammy from diving, and the crowd booed. Of course, Sammy dove over the bent-over ref and splashed onto Hayter on the floor. Sammy whipped Hayter into the ring post. In the ring, Guevara hit a jumping knee at 7:00. He put Hayter across his shoulders and did some deep squats before hitting a Samoan Drop for a nearfall. He hit an enzuigiri in the corner.

Sammy hit a corner fadeaway stunner for a nearfall at 9:00. Hayter hit a leaping DDT, and they were both down. (The cameras pulled back here to show off this huge crowd. Top-notch production.) They got up, and Sammy kissed him, then hit some forearm strikes. Hayter kissed him back and hit his own forearm strikes! Sammy came off the ropes, but Hayter caught him with a superkick, and he got a nearfall at 11:30. They fought on the top rope, where Hayter hit a superplex, then a moonsault!

Hayter hit a second moonsault for a believable nearfall, and they were both down. Hayter rolled to the floor, went under the ring, and found a door. (What is that doing there???) He pushed it into the ring at 14:00 and set it in the corner. Sammy hit a top-rope Spanish Fly, then a spear through the door in the corner. Sammy hit a Go To Hell knee strike for the pin. The comedy was hit-or-miss for me, but the crowd loved it. Really good action.

Sammy Guevara defeated Sammy Hayter at 15:29.

6. Myla Grace vs. Cassie Lee for the WSW Women’s Title. Myla reminds me a LOT of Liv Morgan; I’ve not seen nearly enough of her in action. Cassie wore a full-body skeleton costume. She hit some deep armdrags at the bell, and Grace rolled to the floor to regroup. The commentators talked about Myla having an “attitude change” recently. In the ring, Cassie hit a shoulder tackle and did her IIconic pose. She hit a spinning kick to the jaw for a nearfall at 1:30. Myla dropkicked Cassie off the apron to the floor. Grace slammed her face-first onto the apron and hit some forearm strikes, then turned and gave middle fingers to the crowd.

They got back into the ring, and Myla hit some kicks to the ribs. Cassie fired up and hit some clotheslines at 3:30. She hit a Northern Lights Suplex for a nearfall and another spinning kick. Cassie hit an X-Factor for a believable nearfall, but Myla got a foot on the ropes. A corner pad was removed. Myla slammed her snake-eyes in the corner and got a nearfall at 6:00. While the ref was putting the pad back in place, Myla struck Lee with the title belt for a believable nearfall. Grace applied a crossface, and Lee tapped out. Solid action.

Myla Grace defeated Cassie Lee to retain the WSW Women’s Title at 7:05.

7. Ryusei vs. Dean Brady vs. Moose. I don’t think I have seen Ryusei, who is young with long, curly blond hair. My first time seeing Brady, who has short black hair and wore generic motorcycle gang black pants and a vest. Moose dropped Ryusei with a pump kick at the bell. Brady bodyslammed Ryusei. Moose hit a top-rope crossbody block on Brady. Ryusei hit a huracanrana on Moose, then a dropkick. Brady stomped on Moose in the corner at 1:30.

Brady and Ryusei shoved each other, but then they hit a team suplex on Moose. They hit another team suplex, and they celebrated. Of course, Ryusei went for a cover on Moose, which angered Brady. They hugged each other, but Ryusei tried a rollup. Moose hit a double clothesline at 4:00. He hit a leaping dropkick in the corner on Ryusei, then a Choke Bomb on Brady for a nearfall. Moose hit a senton on Ryusei.

Brady hit an F5 on Moose for a nearfall, but Ryusei made the save. Ryusei and Brady traded forearm strikes. Ryusei hit a pumphandle powerbomb for a nearfall at 6:00. Moose was on the bottom of a Tower of Doom, and they were all down. They all got up and traded chops. Moose hit a spear on Brady for the pin. The winner was never in doubt, but that was decent.

Moose defeated Ryusei and Dean Brady at 8:02.

8. Killer Kross (w/Scarlett) vs. Tetsuya Naito (w/Bushi) for the WSW Men’s Title. Naito took forever to disrobe, and we finally got the bell. Standing switches to open, and they traded arm holds. Naito rolled to the floor at 3:00 to stall. In the ring, he tied up Kross’s arms in a leg lock on the mat. Naito hit a standing neckbreaker for a one-count at 5:30, and he applied a cravat, then he raked Kross’s eyes. Kross hit a Saito Suplex. The ref got misted, and Bushi hit a Lungblower to Kross’s chest.

Ryusei hit a DDT on a replacement referee. Ryusei hit a dropkick on Kross. Naito hit a Destino on Kross, but our original ref was still down. Scarlett tossed Ryusei to the floor. Kross sprayed fluid in Naito’s eyes! Kross hit a Death Valley Driver on Naito for a nearfall at 9:30. Kross immediately applied the Kross-jacket sleeper on the mat. The ref checked Naito, who lifted his arm high to show he hadn’t passed out. However, he passed out, and the ref called for the bell.

Killer Kross defeated Tetsuya Naito to retain the WSW Men’s Title at 10:51.

Final Thoughts: Riddle vs. Sosa was really awesome and earned best match. I’ll take the Good Brothers tag match for second, ahead of the main event. Quite a roster this year, with wrestlers contracted to AEW, MLW, and TNA all in action.

I hope WSW releases a master edit of this show that finds the lost footage of the Shayna-Zoey match, and when they do that, they can cut out that long intermission, too. (I really think that a 3:30 running time will turn off viewers. Trim out that intermission and this show is under three hours.)

Overall, a pretty entertaining show, and don’t underestimate how much good production matters. This was an easy watch.
