The following matches are advertised for the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view on Saturday, November 14, in Phoenix, Arizona, at Mortgage Matchup Center.
-Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher for the AEW World Championship
-Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King vs. Swerve Strickland, Kofi, and Austin Creed for the AEW Trios Titles
-“The Young Bucks” Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson vs. Mark Davis and Jake Doyle for the AEW Tag Team Titles
-“The Brawling Birds” Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor vs. Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles
-The Death Riders vs. The Cut in an Anarchy in the Arena match
Powell’s POV: The AEW World Championship match was announced on Dynamite. Swerve Strickland has demanded that the AEW Trios Title match be fought under Texas Death Match rules. Jon Moxley issued the challenge for the Anarchy in the Arena match. I assume that all of the male Death Riders will be involved, but it remains to be seen which members of The Cut will, um, make the cut.
Although not officially announced, likely card additions include Mercedes Mone vs. Marina Shafir for the AEW Women’s Championship, Tommaso Ciampa vs. Ilja Dragunov, and perhaps the deciding match of the FTR vs. Motor City Machine Guns best-of-five series.
AEW pay-per-views cost $49.99 (or $39.99 via HBO Max). It appears that another Tailgate Brawl pre-show will be simulcast on TNT and HBO Max at 6CT/7ET. Join me for my live review of the pay-per-view card at 7CT/8ET. Jake Barnett and I will team up for a same-night audio review for Dot Net Members (including our Patreon patrons).
