[Hour One] Joe Tessitore checked in on commentary and said it was the first time in 15 years that Raw was being broadcast from Mexico. Corey Graves eventually joined Tessitore on commentary… A video package recapped Penta winning the tournament to earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship…
Tessitore narrated a clip of Roman Reigns walking off a plane, and another of Penta riding a horse while surrounded by a sea of fans near the venue…
Rey Mysterio made his entrance and joined Raw General Manager Adam Pearce inside the ring. Rey wore a neck brace to sell the beating that Omos gave him at Triplemania 34 Night One. Rey spoke Spanish while welcoming the fans to Raw.
Rey told Pearce that he thought this would be a historic night. Pearce smiled, and they shook hands. Rey spoke about the live event tour and said one moment stood out. Footage aired of Stephanie Vaquer beating Liv Morgan to win the Women’s World Championship in Chile.
Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer made her entrance. Vaquer shook hands with Pearce and then bowed, shook Rey’s hand, and hugged him. Vaquer spoke in Spanish, then switched to English and said it was the joy of her life to win back the title in her home country of Chile.
Liv Morgan’s entrance music played, and she walked onto the stage with Dominik Mysterio. Morgan spoke as she and Dom walked to the ring. Morgan claimed she was screwed, and Vaquer knows it. Morgan said that she and Vaquer both know that she is the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time. Morgan said Rey was a deadbeat dad who hit a new low by hanging out with Vaquer.
Dominik Mysterio was booed loudly as he spoke. Dom said this is what a real champion looks like. Rey pointed out that Dom lost the AAA Mega Championship the night before. Footage aired of El Grande Americano beating Dom to win the title at AAA Triplemania Night Two. Dom said he and Morgan would face Rey and Vaquer in a tag team match. Pearce said Rey had a neck injury. Dom called the injury fake.
AAA El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) made his entrance and headed to the ring. Once in the ring, Americano spoke to the crowd in Spanish. Pearce booked Americano and Vaquer vs. Dom and Morgan as the opening match, and then the show went to a commercial break… [C]
Powell’s POV: The crowd is red hot for the third show in four nights at the same venue (Friday’s SmackDown, Sunday’s Triplemania, and tonight’s Raw). This is a fun way to start the show after Americano beat Dom for the AAA Mega Championship last night, and Vaquer beat Morgan to win the Women’s World Championship on Saturday.
1. AAA Mega Champion El Grande Americano and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer vs. Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan in a mixed tag. The match was in progress after the break. Rey Mysterio watched from ringside. Dom crotched Americano over the top rope and then dropkicked him to the floor. [C]
Americano got the better of Dom and wanted to tag out, but Morgan pulled Vaquer off the apron. Vaquer eventually tagged in and took Morgan down with a dragon screw before performing the Devil’s Kiss. Vaquer caught Dom sneaking up behind her, but Morgan used the distraction to perform a Backstabber.
Americano ran in and fought Dom, who tripped him and set up for the 619, but Americano came right back and put Dom in position for the move. Morgan slapped Americano, who pointed behind him. When Morgan turned around, Vaquer superkicked Morgan, who fell behind Dom. Vaquer hit a double 619.
Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez, and JD McDonagh ran out to help Dom and Morgan for the apparent DQ.

Powell’s POV: A weak finish. I don’t mind putting heat on the heels, but why not do it after the babyfaces got the win or even after the heels stole the win?
Dom eventually grabbed Rey by his injured neck and pulled him into the ring. Americano cut off Dom, but McDonagh dropped Americano with a headbutt. McDonagh followed up with a top rope moonsault. Morgan hit Oblivion on Vaquer. The Judgment Day members stood tall over Americano, Vaquer, and Rey…
The Spanish broadcast team of Marcelo Rodriguez and Jerry Soto checked in from their ringside desk that was next to Testiøre and Graves’ desk…

2. Je’Von Evans vs. Big Cass vs. Austin Theory (w/Maxxine Dupri) in a Triple Threat men’s Money in the Bank qualifier. The MITB briefcases were hanging above the ring. All three wrestlers ended up at ringside. Evans ran toward Cass, who caught Evans, grabbed him by the throat, and threw him at Theory, who was in the timekeeper’s area. [C]
Theory powered up Cass on his shoulders and spun him into a sit-out powerbomb. Impressive. Evans was on the top rope and hit Theory with a frog splash. Theory ended up on the floor, where Dupri checked him. Evans dove over the top rope onto Theory, who was on the floor. Evans sent Theory back inside the ring. When Evans followed, Cass cut him off.
Dupri pulled Theory to the floor to keep him away from Cass, who then blasted Evans with a big boot. Theory returned to clear Cass to the floor and then tried to steal the pin. All three wrestlers ended up on the floor again. Once they returned to the ring, Evans performed a move that drove Theory onto Cass. Evans used his speed to avoid Cass, hit him with the OG Cutter, and pinned him…
Je’Von Evans defeated Big Cass and Austin Theory in 9:45 to qualify for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
The updated graphic showed Bron Breakker and Je’Von Evans as two of the six qualifiers for the men’s MITB match, which will be held at the October 10 MITB premium live event in New Orleans…
Powell’s POV: I’m surprised that Evans pinned Big Cass. No complaints about the clean finish and Evans getting his win back, but I thought they would protect Cass by having Theory take the pin.
The broadcast team spoke at ringside about how it would be hostile territory for Roman Reigns after he was booed heavily when he was shown on the big screen at the start of the show…
