NXT TV rating (8/11): Did the No. 1 contenders match boost the numbers?

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

The Tuesday, August 11, NXT television show averaged 588,000 viewers on The CW, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.com. The viewership count was down from the prior week’s average of 649,000. NXT finished with a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demo, up from the prior week’s 0.07 rating.

Powell’s POV: The ESPN Unlimited streaming numbers are not included in the rating or viewership count for NXT programming. The August 11 show was headlined by Cruz Montana vs. Grayson Waller in a number one contender’s match, and also featured the unadvertised debut of Zilla Fatu. One year earlier, the August 12, 2025, NXT on The CW averaged 728,000 viewers and a 0.17 rating.
