Ilja Dragunov’s (Ilja Rukober) run with WWE has come to an end. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reports that Dragunov’s contract expired and he’s been removed internally from the roster. Read the full report via PWInsider.com.
Powell’s POV: The 32-year-old Dragunov has been in the WWE system since 2019, when he debuted in NXT UK. His last match was on the April 17 Smackdown when he took part in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Dragunov would be a fine addition to any roster, but he strikes me as an ideal fit in AEW due to his size and in-ring style.
