Wednesday’s NXT television show produced 592,000 viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 604,000 viewers who watched last week’s show.

Powell’s POV: AEW won the night the night with 701,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite finished seventh in the 18-49 demographic this week, while NXT finished 53rd in the same category.

  1. WWE can’t be happy with these numbers. I continue to enjoy both NXT and AEW Dynamite. I wonder if WWE would ever consider letting NXT breathe as a wrestling product without all of the massive production, Mauro Ranallo commentary, etc. Why exactly are the wrestlers continuing to do their fully choreographed entrances for an empty arena? I guess I’m asking WWE to de-WWE NXT a bit and that’ll never happen, which is a shame. It’s basically in many ways the show I always hoped Impact or ROH TV could morph into.
