Minnesota Vikings’ wide receiver Stefon Diggs wore cleats inspired by Steve Austin during the pre-game warmups for Sunday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Mache, the creator of the design, noted that Austin is his favorite wrestler and that he knew he would use an Austin theme once he saw Dallas on the schedule.
Powell’s POV: Mache also designed ECW themed cleats for Diggs when the Vikings played in Philadelphia last season. The Vikings won that game over the Eagles. Did the Austin cleats lead the Vikings to a win in Dallas on Sunday Night Football. Oh, hell yeah.
If you guys know me you know how much I loved making these, @stefondiggs is my brother from another and @steveaustinBSR is my all time favorite wrestler…as soon as I saw Dallas on the schedule for @SNFonNBC I knew this was happening. Haha. #SKOL pic.twitter.com/c06uYztpds
