Warner Media is considering the idea of launching a second All Elite Wrestling television series. Warner Media executive Brett Weitz told The Wrap the two sides are discussing the possibility of doing a studio show together. “We are talking about it,” Weitz said of the possibility of a companion show for AEW Dynamite. “…Knowing full well that within the WarnerMedia ecosystem we have B/R Live, we’ve got all these different components at our disposal.” Read the full story at TheWrap.com.

Powell’s POV: At the very least, a studio show on B/R Live would seem to be a good idea, especially if they go with a format similar to the defunct Talking Smack series that once aired on WWE Network. Obviously, we’ll pass along additional details as they become available. It’s worth noting that FS1 will be launching a studio show for WWE Smackdown at some point.

  1. Since Dynamite is a synonym of Nitro, perhaps they should name a companion show Lightning and go full WCW.
