The National Wrestling Alliance announced Monday that Jazz has forfeited the NWA Women’s Championship. She will not work her advertised championship match against Allysin Kay at Saturday’s Crockett Cup event. Rather, Kay will face an opponent to be named for the vacant NWA Women’s Championship on Saturday.

Powell’s POV: Jazz has yet to comment on the reason she forfeited the championship, nor did the NWA offer an explanation via their statement on the matter. Join me for live coverage of the NWA Crockett Cup event as the show airs Saturday night at 6CT/7ET.
