WWE has announced that Ronda Rousey will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Ruby Riott at the Elimination Chamber event. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: It’s a shame that Riott wasn’t protected in her past television matches with Rousey, as the company could have built this up to feel like a showdown match. Nevertheless, Rousey and Riott have the potential to deliver a strong match at the February 17 event in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center.

  1. No fault of Ruby’s, but this match is uninspiring. They’ll probably have Rousey decimate her.

So far the EC card looks lackluster.
