The following matches are advertised for the MLW Fury Road event that will be held on October 4 in New York, New York at Melrose Ballroom.

-LA Park vs. PCO

-“The New Hart Foundation” Davey Boy Smith Jr., Teddy Hart, and Brian Pillman Jr. vs. ACH, Rich Swann, and Marko Stunt

-Shane Strickland vs. Tom Lawlor

-Jimmy Havoc vs. Sami Callihan in a Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal match.

-Tommy Dreamer vs. Brody King

Powell’s POV: The Havoc vs. Callihan and Dreamer vs. King matches have been added to the lineup since our last update. The concept for the Spin the Wheel match is that the wheel containing a bunch of gimmick matches will be spun prior to the match and they will work whichever type match it stops on. The options for the match are chain match, body bag match, coal miner’s glove match, first blood match, Prince of Darkness match, Spinner’s Choice, death match, cage match, I Quit match, and a dog collar match. The concept was used in the early ’90s in WCW and came off corny (as did a lot of things in WCW at that time), but I have no doubt that Havoc and Callihan will make it work.

MLW has also announced that there will be an MLW Title match on the card. This event will be taped for the Fusion television series that airs Fridays at 7CT/8ET on beIN Sports. MLW is also advertising Low Ki, Sami Callihan, Barrington Hughes, and Kotto Brazil.
