Thursday’s Impact Wrestling television drew 225,000 total viewers on Pop TV, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was up from the 212,000 viewers the show accumulated the previous week.

Powell’s POV: A minor increase for the themed edition that ran opposite a full slate of preseason NFL games. It will be very interesting to see how Impact fairs against the NFL regular season opener next week. Last year, Impact Wrestling produced 268,000 viewers for the August 31 edition.

  1. Am not american so not sure how the NFL stuff all works but can Impact just change nights again? I mean, heck, please change networks. I just feel really bad for all the wrestlers and production crew putting on consistently good shows only to have such piddly audience numbers when they deserve so much more.
