Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live averaged 2.197 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 2.401 million count from last Tuesday’s edition.

Powell’s POV: A poor number despite the recent uptick in the quality of the Smackdown television shows. The commercial advertising was built around AJ Styles responding to Samoa Joe and whatever was next for Charlotte and Becky Lynch. The August 8, 2017 edition of Smackdown delivered 2.584 million viewers.
