The following matches are advertised for WWE SummerSlam, which takes place on August 19 in Brooklyn, New York at Barclays Center.

-Brock Lesnar defends the WWE Universal Championship against the winner of the Raw match between Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns.

-Alexa Bliss vs. Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Powell’s POV: It’s worth noting that there are scenarios that could lead to a singles match, a Triple Threat, or even a four-way for the Universal Championship. For instance, something could happen in the Lashley and Reigns match to make it a Triple Threat, and Braun Strowman could add himself to the match via the Money in the Bank contract. I assume we will get some indication as to where things are heading on the Smackdown side on tonight’s television show.

  1. an interesting tweet thrown out there by Ryan satin (taken from squared circle reddit)

Ryan Satin: ‘This is pure speculation…but I’ve had this feeling that we’re getting a threeway at Summerslam with Hulk as special enforcer. Lashley wins and the show ends with Hulk raising the hand of the first black Universal champ.’

hmmm…in the world of theories I have to admit it’s not a bad one:)
