Former WWE wrestler Matt Cappotelli died on Friday at age 38 following a lengthy battle with brain cancer. His wife Lindsay announced the news at Facebook.com. “You think you can be prepared for this when you know it’s coming, but you just can’t,” Lindsay wrote. “The only person who’s comfort I want right now is the one who can’t give it to me. I miss him so much. I know where he is now is so much better, but it doesn’t change how much I miss him.”

Powell’s POV: Lindsay also noted that his death was exactly one year after his brain surgery. Cappotelli was a co-winner of the 2003 Tough Enough with John Hennigan. He worked in Ohio Valley Wrestling until the the brain cancer diagnosis cut his career short. The news of his death is truly heartbreaking and I wish the very best to Lindsay and the rest of the family.
