Longtime pro wrestler Nick “Big Bully” Busick died today at age 63. The cause of death has not been revealed, but he was diagnosed with cancer of the cerebrospinal fluid this year and was in hospice care.
Powell’s POV: Busick started his career in 1978. He worked for WWE/WWF from 1989 to 1991. His death was acknowledged by WWE.com. My condolences to his family and friends.
R.I.P Bully. He was one of the bright spots of the old Global Wrestling Federation and I enjoyed his brief run in WWE with Harvey Whippleman as his manager. Don’t know why he didn’t get a bigger push as his gimmick was perfect for WWE at the time.
