Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live scored a 1.66 rating, down from the 1.78 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.436 million viewers, down from last week’s 2.549 million viewers.

Powell’s POV: The Superstar Shakeup was generally considered a win for Smackdown, but it has not helped out in the ratings thus far. The show ran opposite an NBA playoff game delivering over 5.5 million viewers for TNT on Tuesday night. The May 2, 2017 edition of Smackdown delivered a 1.62 rating with 2.300 million viewers.
