WWE issued the following statement to Prowrestling.net on Monday night regarding Jonathan Coachman being accused of inappropriate behavior by a former ESPN co-worker:
“We take these matters very seriously and are investigating.”
Powell’s POV: Check out the Coachman story here if you missed it earlier. I was forwarded the lawsuit details during Raw, but some mainstream media outlets had stories out prior to the show. Thus, it’s possible that WWE was aware of the accusations prior to Raw. Coachman worked the show in his usual color commentator role on Monday night and has not commented on the matter.
