New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that the first match between “The Golden Lovers” Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega vs. “The Young Bucks” Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson will be held at the Strong Style Evolved event. The show will be held on March 25 in Long Beach, California at the Walter Pyramid. Read the official announcement at NJPW.co.jp.

Powell’s POV: NJPW previously announced Rey Mysterio vs. Jushin Thunder Liger for this event, which will be broadcast live on AXS TV. With just two matches advertised, this already feels like a loaded event. Will Pruett wrote about his love for the Golden Lovers reunion matches that took place at the Honor Rising shows in his latest blog. You can also find my reviews of both shows on the main page.

  1. Boring. The spotfest olympics are just painful to watch.
