WWE.com released the following first round matches for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
-Street Profits vs. Heavy Machinery.
-TM-61 vs. Authors of Pain.
-Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss vs. Sanity.
-Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch vs. “Mustache Mountain” Tyler Bate and Trent Seven.
Powell’s POV: It appears Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe will represent the Sanity faction. The brackets are such that the winners of Profits vs. Machinery will face the winners of TM-61 and AOP in the second round. The tournament will begin airing on the March 7 edition of NXT TV. The winners will earn a shot at Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly for the NXT Tag Titles at NXT Takeover: New Orleans during WrestleMania weekend.
