WWE Smackdown general manager Daniel Bryan released a social media video in which he announced plans for a Smackdown Top Ten list. Bryan said the list will be determined by the Smackdown wrestlers with the criteria including most talent, locker room leadership, and who has the most athletic skill. Bryan added that neither he nor Shane McMahon will have a vote, nor can the wrestlers vote for themselves.
Powell’s POV: I like the idea of a top ten, but the wrestlers voting on it and the criteria seems a little odd. Of course, I want to see how this is executed. If they do this right, it could be an interesting way to make Smackdown feel different than Raw.
