The following matches are advertised for the NXT Takeover: WarGames event that will be held on Saturday in Houston, Texas at Toyota Center.
-Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong vs. Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish vs. Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, and Killian Dain in a WarGames match.
-Ember Moon vs. Kairi Sane vs. Nikki Cross vs. Peyton Royce for the vacant NXT Women’s Championship.
-Drew McIntyre vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas for the NXT Championship.
-Aleister Black vs. Velveteen Dream.
-Kassius Ohno vs. Lars Sullivan.
Powell’s POV: WWE has also announced that Pete Dunne vs. Johnny Gargano will be a dark match held prior to the live broadcast. That’s a damn shame given how good that match looks on paper. At the same time, it looks like another loaded Takeover event. We will have live coverage of NXT Takeover: WarGames as the show streams on WWE Network on Saturday night.
