Global Force Wrestling announced that Jeff Jarrett will be taking an indefinite leave of absence. “Effective immediately, Jeff Jarrett is taking an indefinite leave of absence from his position as Chief Creative Officer to focus on personal matters,” a GFW website statement reads. “Jeff will be available on a consultative basis as needed.”
Powell’s POV: There has been a lot of talk within the business about the behavior of Jeff and Karen Jarrett coming out of various GFW tapings. That said, there was no additional information released by GFW in terms of what led to this decision. Obviously, it will be very interesting to see who ends up filling the void left by Jarrett in creative.
