-WWE is in Wichita, Kansas at Intrust Bank Arena tonight with the following advertised matches: John Cena vs. Samoa Joe, The Miz defends the Intercontinental Title against the winner of a battle royal. It’s worth nothing that Joe reportedly suffered a knee injury that will sideline him for roughly a month and he is no longer listed on the WWE Live Events page.

-WWE is in Kansas City, Missouri at Sprint Center on Saturday with the following advertised talent: Roman Reigns, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Alexa Bliss, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, The Miz, The Hardy Boyz.

-WWE is in Moline, Illinois at I Wireless Center on Saturday with the following advertised matches: Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match for the WWE Championship, AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin in a Triple Threat for the U.S. Championship, Bobby Roode will also appear.

-WWE is in Des Moines, Iowa at Wells Fargo Arena on Sunday with the following advertised matches: Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus and Cesaro for the Raw Tag Titles.

-WWE is in Cedar Falls, Iowa at McLeod Center on Sunday with the Smackdown crew.

-The next Ring of Honor event will be the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on September 22 in Las Vegas, Nevada at Sam’s Town Live. The same venue will host the television tapings the next night.

-The next GFW Impact Wrestling date is the November 5 Bound For Glory pay-per-view, which will be held in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios.

-The next Evolve events will be held on September 22 in Livonia, Michigan at Monaghan Knights Of Columbus Hall, and September 23 in Summit, Illinois at Summit Park District.

-Deuce/Sim Snuka is 46.

-Doug Williams is 45.

-Sami Callihan (Sam Johnston) is 30.

-The late Mad Dog Vachon (Joseph Maurice Regis Vachon) was born on September 1, 1929. He died at age 84 on November 21, 2013.

-The late Scott “Bam Bam” Bigelow was born on September 1, 1961. He died of a drug overdose on January 19, 2007 at age 45.

-The late Rocco Rock (Ted Petty) was born on September 1, 1953. He died of a heart attack at age 49 on September 23, 2002.
