Impact Wrestling announced that the broadcast team for the July 2 Slammiversary event will be former ESPN personality Robert Flores and former TNA color commentator Don West. A press release issued by the company notes that it’s a one-night return for West. Read the full release at ImpactWrestling.com.

Powell’s POV: Flores is a longtime pro wrestling fan who current works for MLB Network and NHL Network. West worked for nearly a decade in TNA and recently returned as an on-air pitchman for the company’s merchandise. It will be fun to see him back in this setting again after all these years. The duo are calling the show because the regular duo of Jeremy Borash and Josh Mathews will be involved in a tag team match. There’s no word yet as to what role regular color commentator D’Angelo Dinero will play on the show.
