Longtime professional wrestler Ron Bass (Ronald Heard) died on Tuesday at age 68. PWInsider.com reports that Bass was hospitalized recently for a burst appendix and missed a scheduled convention appearance in New York over the weekend.
Powell’s POV: Bass worked for various territories including Florida and Jim Crockett Promotions. He signed with WWE in 1987 and worked there until early 1989. He joined a class action lawsuit against WWE last year. My condolences to his friends an family.
