The following dates were announced as Impact Wrestling taping dates for shows held in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios.
-Thursday, March 2 through Sunday, March 5
-Thursday, April 20 through Sunday, April 23
-Sunday, July 2 through Thursday, July 6
-Thursday, August 17 through Sunday, August 20
Powell’s POV: The April 20 and August 17 editions of Impact are listed as “live” shows (they air on same day tape delay). It’s odd that the March 2 show is not billed the same way. We told Dot Net Members weeks ago in the Dot Net Weekly audio show that the new plan was for the company to tape four days in a row rather than go with the longer, marathon-like taping schedule. The only exception appears to be the July tapings, though it’s possible they will have July 4 off due to the holiday. The talent advertised for the tapings are EC3, Lashley, Eddie Edwards, Moose, Mike Bennett, Maria, and Decay. The most notable names from that group are Bennett and Maria, whose contracts expired last month. Of course, it’s interesting that Drew Galloway, Broken Matt, and Jeff Hardy are not listed, as the contracts of all three men expire this month.
