Thursday’s TNA Impact Wrestling television drew 299,000 total viewers on Pop TV, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 307,000 viewers the show accumulated last week.

Powell’s POV: Open Fight Night was my least favorite Impact Wrestling television show of the new year. The combination of Open Fight Night and the revamped Feast or Fired (now named Race for the Case) payoff didn’t lead to improved viewership, so here’s hoping that TNA gives up on both concepts. That said, it’s worth nothing that the XFL documentary aired against the second hour of Impact, which may have brought the number down.

  1. Until everyone knows it’s Impact Wrestling, Dixie is long gone, Gaburick is also gone, some new talent comes in to get the promotion talked about, Dutch and JJ blow minds, nothing will get them above 320k. A Toronto move would help.
