Dot Net staffer John Moore attended WWE Raw in Oakland, California at Oracle Arena and sent the following report on the WWE Superstars taping.
1. The Shining Stars beat local enhancement wrestlers. The Stars got a decent reaction and the people reacted to their high spots. There was a “let’s go jobbers” and a “where’s Carlito” chant before The Shining Stars won by pinfall.
2. Darren Young (w/Bob Backlund) pinned Jinder Mahal. Darren got a surprisingly good reaction. It was better than Jack Swagger typically gets, for whatever that’s worth. Backlund got a great reaction due to people knowing who he is. People weren’t bored by Jinder, so that’s a plus.
