John Cena appeared at the NBC Upfront in New York on Monday to “spread the good word of WWE.” Cena stated in an interview on NBC that he will guest host on NBC’s “Today” on May 30, and then return to the ring later that night. Watch the brief interview at Today.com
Powell’s POV: So Cena will start his Memorial Day in New York City on NBC, then make the trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin for Raw that night. It will obviously be good promotion for Cena’s return to the ring to have him appear on NBC that morning. By the way, Nikki Bella attended the upfront event with Cena, but she did not appear on camera during this interview. I read a few recaps regarding NBC’s Upfront presentation and none mentioned WWE or Cena.
