WWE announces Shinsuke Nakamura has signed with NXT

Logo_NXT_dn_crop600WWE announced that Shinsuke Nakamura has signed a contract with NXT. “Talent is the lifeblood of our company, and the signing of Shinsuke Nakamura further demonstrates NXT’s commitment to bringing in the best talent from all over the world,” Triple H stated in a press release. “His explosive style will make an immediate impact to an already dynamic NXT men’s division.” Read the official announcement at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: WWE didn’t even try to keep the news of Nakamura signing with them a secret, but they made the announcement official during a press conference in Japan. I’m not sure what to read into the announcement that he’s signed with NXT. It was already known that he would start in NXT, but there’s no telling how long he will actually stay there.
