John Cena’s FOX show to air opposite WWE Smackdown

The John Cena hosted “American Grit” show will premiere Thursday, April 14 on FOX at 8:00 p.m. CT, according to Variety.com. The ten-episode series features competitors with military backgrounds competing in various challenges.

Powell’s POV: Cena’s show will have “Bones” as a lead-in. It will air opposite Smackdown’s second hour. It will be interesting to see how WWE promotes the “American Grit” given that it will be competition for their own show.
