“Iron” Mike Sharpe dead at age 64

Retired pro wrestler “Iron” Mike Sharpe died over the weekend in Hamilton, Ontario at age 64. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reports that Sharpe, who had been battling health issues in recent years, was found dead in his apartment.

Powell’s POV: Sharpe was one of the most popular enhancement workers in the business during his WWF/WWE run in the ’80s. WWE has yet to issue a statement on his death as of this update, but we will be sure to let you know on the main page if and when they do.
