7/11 WWE Raw Pre-Show notes: Live coverage of the WWE Network broadcast

-Scott Stanford, Corey Graves, and Booker T hosted the pre-show from WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. They immediately addressed Brock Lesnar winning at UFC 200. Booker said he didn’t think Lesnar would have the stamina to go three rounds, but he looked great. They showed still shots from Lesnar’s win over Mark Hunt.

-The panel hyped Lesnar vs. Randy Orton for WWE SummerSlam. They noted that Orton congratulated Lesnar via twitter and hyped their match.

-Stanford noted that Booker T had Orton on his show and how much credit Orton gave Booker for helping him. Booker said Orton sat under his learning tree, and now he’s going to face a guy who started around the same time he did. Booker said he has a lot of faith in Orton heading into SummerSlam.

-Stanford asked how Orton can handle Lesnar. Graves noted their history in Ohio Valley Wrestling. He said he doesn’t know how anyone can prepare for Lesnar. He said Hunt was a top-10 fighter and he couldn’t even stop Lesnar.

-Stanford hyped Vince McMahon’s return to Raw, and the battle royal to become number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship.

-Stanford asked Graves whether Vince will reveal who the COO’s will be. Graves said absolutely not, then explained he wouldn’t show his cards at this point. Booker disagreed.

-The hosts discussed the Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns match at Battleground.

-Stanford spoke about Pokemon Go taking over WWE. Yes, really.

-“Earlier today” at Raw, Tyler Breeze and Fandango were in small a roped off area. The Lucha Dragons approached. Breeze and Fandango insulted their masks, etc. It led to a drink being splashed on Breeze and a Raw match being announced between the two teams.

-Zack Ryder vs. Sheamus was announced for Raw in an immediate rematch from Smackdown.

-Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson was announced for Raw.

-Stanford questioned John Cena’s status for Raw due to hosting the ESPY Awards on Wednesday. “We don’t even know if John Cena will be around.”

-Xavier Woods’s fear of the Wyatt Family, and his website interview was recapped.

-The hosts closed the show.
