Chris Jericho’s life story could become a television series. Jericho appeared on the Skratch N’ Sniff YouTube show and said that his first book, A Lion’s Tale, is being developed as a television series.
“We’ve kinda moved it up the food chain, and it’s close to filming a pilot,” Jericho said. “And we do have an actor that is very similar to me when he was first starting out that was from the Letterkenny series if you ever watched that show.
“So, yeah, I mean, there might be something very, very soon, not just an autobiography because that’s not enough, because I’m Chris Jericho, right? I always have to push the envelope. We might have a whole actual TV series about kind of the early days of my career, which would be a lot of fun. So that’s something we’re working on, and we’re moving to the pilot stage very, very soon.” Check out the full interview via the Skratch N’ Sniff YouTube Channel.
Powell’s POV: Jericho declined to name the Letterkenny actor, but did say there is “a real facial similarity.” It has to be the guy who plays Roald, right? Kidding. Actually, I’m guessing that it’s Dylan Playfair, who plays Reilly. Jericho and Playfair both had parts in the Dead at 27 film that just wrapped. I thought A Lion’s Tale was a great read, and I got a big kick out of the But I’m Chris Jericho web series, so I’ll definitely check out the TV series if it comes to fruition.
