By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

AEW Collision (Episode 136)
Taped March 11, 2026, in San Jose, California, at San Jose Civic
Simulcast March 14, 2026, on TNT and HBO Max

[Hour One] The Collision opening video kicked off the episode… Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness checked in on commentary while pyro shot off on the stage. Schiavone ran through the lineup… Ring announcer Arkady Aura delivered the introductions for the opening match while the entrances took place…

1. Kevin Knight vs. El Clon. Mike Bailey walked onto the stage with Knight, but he did not accompany him to the ring. Clon performed an early suplex on the floor. Back in the ring, Knight put Clon down with a spinebuster. Moments later, Knight pulled himself over the ropes in a corner of the ring and hit a crossbody block on Clon on the floor before a picture-in-picture break. [C]

Clon performed an overhead kick that sent Knight to the floor. Clon followed up with a PK and a moonsault from the apron before rolling Knight back inside the ring. Clon performed a springboard moonsault and covered Knight for a two count.

Clon dominated the next few minutes of offense and picked up multiple near falls. Knight caught Clon in an inside cradle and then a backslide for a pair of near falls of his own. Knight hit a springboard clothesline. Knight performed the UFO Splash and got the three count…

Kevin Knight defeated El Clon in 13:00.

A video package spotlighted the AEW Trios Title match for Sunday’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view…

Powell’s POV: A solid match that felt like it went a bit longer than necessary. Selling the Revolution pay-per-view is more important than having good matches. In this case, the announcers were good about plugging the AEW Trios Title match that Knight will be in. By the way, there was an ad for the new series Foul Play With Anthony Davis that premieres on April 6 on TBS. Darby Allin and Sting appeared in the commercial, but there was no mention of when their episode would air.

AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron delivered a backstage promo. Willow spoke about how they’ve overcome the odds, which Cameron said are against them. Willow said she would take care of Lena Kross in the TBS Title match during the pre-show, and then they will take care of Kross and Megan Bayne in the AEW Tag Team Title match during the Revolution pay-per-view…

2. Mark Davis vs. Komander. Both entrances were televised. Davis performed an early Buckle Bomb. Komander came right back with a springboard into a huracanrana, sending Davis to the floor. Davis stuffed Komander’s attempt to powerbomb him from the apron to the floor. Davis sat down on Komander on the apron, which drew gasps from the live crowd before a PIP break. [C]

Komander performed a moonsault from the top rope onto Davis on the floor. Later, Komander caught Davis in an Octopus hold, but he escaped quickly. Komander hit a 619. He went up top and walked the ropes before flipping and landing on his feet when he saw that Davis was going to avoid the move he was going for. Davis used a piledriver to get the three count…

Mark Davis beat Komander in 11:55.

Powell’s POV: The match was fine, but it once again felt longer than necessary. If they want Davis to look like a threat when he faces the top stars, then he should be plowing through wrestlers who are lower on the card.

Footage aired from after AEW Dynamite of “The Dogs” David Finlay, Gabe Kidd, and Clark Connors delivering a brief promo outside the building. Finlay and Connors spoke about their trios match against Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy, and Mark Briscoe…

Schiavone ran through the pay-per-view lineup… A Mascara Dorada video package aired… [C]

A video package aired on the 21-man Blackjack Battle Royale for the AEW National Championship that included brief comments from Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta, Rush and Dralistico, Scorpio Sky, and Daniel Garcia. Anthony Bowens said he wanted to prove to Hook that he’s a killer. Hook and Katsuyori Shibata showed up and asked if Bowens was going to help them win the title. Tommaso Ciampa closed out the video with a brief promo…

3. “Triangle of Madness” AEW Women’s Champion Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue vs. Tatevik, Viva Van, and Karisma. Thekla tagged in and did her spider pose while Hart and Blue took out Tatevik and Van. Thekla speared and pinned Karisma.

“Triangle of Madness” Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue beat Tatevik, Viva Van, and Karisma in 1:05.

After the match, Thekla delivered an in-ring promo. She said she’s sick of hearing about Kris Statlander, and claimed that Statlander fears her.

Kris Statlander’s entrance theme played, and she headed to the ring and took out Hart and Blue at ringside. Statlander entered the ring. Statlander put Thekla down. Statlander removed her belt and tossed it in front of Thekla. Statlander removed her jacket and wore a top that left her back exposed.

Statlander turned away from Thekla and let her deliver several lashes with the belt. Statlander got up, and her back was red from the belt shots. She was willing to take another lash, but Thekla knocked her down, threw punches, and then spat at Statlander.

Statlander got a mic after Thekla left the ring. Statlander said she doesn’t want Thekla to be afraid of her. She said Thekla should be afraid of what she will have to do to keep her down…

Powell’s POV: You know, this match really should have been given more time. I’m kidding. This was a quick squash win for Thekla, Hart, and Blue that was all about showcasing Thekla. Statlander has taken a darker turn and is keeping her promos brief. So far, so good, but she could use a new entrance theme that fits better with her current persona.

Backstage, Marina Shafir recalled asking Toni Storm for advice years ago and being told she should keep doing what she was doing. Shafir said Storm is veering into her lane and can’t take her own advice. Shafir said she has become one of one. She fears no one and violates everyone. She spoke about beating Storm so badly that her fans, butler, and her own mother won’t recognize her…

4. “The Demand” Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun vs. Ace Austin, Juice Robinson, and Austin Gunn. The entrances of both teams were televised. Schiavone said Revolution’s Zero Hour pre-show will be available free for HBO Max subscribers.

[Hour Two] Austin rolled Kaun into a pin for just a one count. Later, Robinson dove from the ring onto The Demand, who caught him on the floor. Austin performed a suicide dive that put the Demand down. Austin helped Robinson to his feet before a PIP break. [C]

Late in the match, Ricochet hit Robinson with a springboard clothesline. Austin ran Ricochet into a turnbuckle. Kaun dropkicked Austin. Gunn hit a Fameasser on Kaun and had him pinned, but Ricochet broke it up with a Spirit Gun. Kaun covered Gunn and got the three count.

“The Demand” Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun defeated Ace Austin, Juice Robinson, and Austin Gunn in roughly 13:00.

Afterward, Ricochet hit Austin with the AEW National Championship belt. Ricochet went to the broadcast table and returned with a microphone, which he struck Gunn with. Ricochet spoke about the 21-man Blackjack Battle Royale. He said it seemed like the company was doing everything possible to sabotage his title reign. Ricochet said it didn’t matter how many people are in the battle royale, because he’s the only one who matters. Ricochet said he doesn’t care if “Tony” likes it or not, he’s leaving with his championship…

Powell’s POV: The match was entertaining, and Ricochet got good heat during his post-match promo.

Backstage, Jack Perry stuck a knife in a wall and then delivered a promo about being in the Blackjack Battle Royale. He said it was an opportunity to realize a lifelong dream by competing in the building that made him want to become a pro wrestler. He said he can’t fail this time. “This will be for his family, and that little boy who sat in the front row all those years ago,” Perry said. “Ricochet, I’ll see you at Revolution”… [C]

Toni Storm delivered a promo while lying on a rug or a carpeted floor. She said people think a circus is a happy place, but you see the truth if you stand close enough to the ring. She said the paint is cracked, the performers are exhausted, and the animals are tired of pretending. Storm said she’s been in the circus long enough to know how it really works.

Storm said every circus beast believes it rules the ring. She said they pace, they rage, and bare their teeth, but they sit when the whip cracks. Storm said Marina Shafir stomps and snarls like she’s the terror in the tent, but she shouldn’t forget who holds the whip. Storm said that when they reach the final act at Revolution, Shafir will realize that she’s but a performer…

Powell’s POV: A good promo. It had a unique look with Storm lying on the rug or carpet, and she clearly put some thought into her dialogue.

5. Lena Kross vs. Mina Shirakawa. Both entrances were televised. Megan Bayne came out with Kross, but she didn’t stay at ringside. Kross stood across from Shirakawa to show that she is several inches taller. Kross dropped Shirakawa face-first on the apron before a PIP break. [C]

Shirakawa performed a dragon screw leg whip over the ropes and then dove onto Kross before getting a two count. Kross stuffed a Figure Four attempt and then dropped Shirakawa with a nice kick. Shirakawa rallied with a back fist. She followed up a move that Schiavone guessed was a sling blade clothesline from the top rope.

Kross stuffed another Figure Four attempt and then regained control with a German Suplex. Kross dropped Shirakawa with a kick and then hit her with a Jackhammer for the win…

Lena Kross beat Mina Shirakawa in roughly 10:00.

Afterward, Bayne joined Kross in the ring before they exited together… [C]

Powell’s POV: It was good to see them take a moment to let Kross’s size stand out before they started the match. It doesn’t always stand out because she teams with Megan Bayne, who is also tall. The crowd is attentive and reacts to big moves, but they are not nearly as lively as they were for the live Dynamite show that was held before the taping of this episode.

Komander made his entrance for the main event. The crowd was louder for the entrance of Andrade El Idolo, who came out alone. The fans booed when Don Callis and Lance Archer walked out behind him…

6. Andrade El Idolo vs. Máscara Dorada. Don Callis sat in on commentary while Lance Archer stood guard. Callis said Andrade will bring the AEW World Championship to the Callis Family. Andrade got the better of Dorada to start. He spotted a woman in the front row near the broadcast team and posed for a selfie with her. Dorada came back and had a run of offense that Andrade cut off before a PIP break. [C]
