NXT TV
Orlando, Florida, at the WWE Performance Center
Aired live November 11, 2025, on The CW Network
[Hour One] The show started off with a Veterans Day tribute video…
Vic Joseph and Booker T were on commentary. Mike Rome was the ring announcer…
Separate shots of Trick Williams and Ricky Saints arriving to the PC were shown…
NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley and The Culling made their entrance to open the show. Tatum soaked in “Tatum Tuesday” chants. She said it still gives her goosebumps hearing her announced as women’s champion. Tatum said if she wants to keep hearing that, she needs to listen to her friends. She said last week didn’t happen like she wanted, but she got carried away. Tatum said she’s the reason she lost and let her friend Izzi down.
Tatum thanked Izzi for forgiving her. Izzi said she and The Culling want what’s best for Tatum. She said they knew she worked for a long time to become champion. Izzi said in order to remain champion Tatum needs to stop giving away title shots to everyone. Tatum said sorry, but the wheel was fun. Izzi said they’d cheer for a fruit fly if you put it in front of them. Izzi said if you fight for the fans, the fans will leave her alone.
Izzi said Tatum is perfect with The Culling looking after her. Tatum said she wants both, so noone in the locker room has to feel bad like she did. Izzi said that the more Tatum defends, the more chances she has to lose it. Izzi said the title needs to be earned, not given away like a participation trophy. Fatal Influence made their entrance. Jacy Jayne said she felt just like Tatum and Tatum needs to find out what champion she needs to be.
Jacy said Tatum needs to prove her title win wasn’t a fluke and that means being a fighting champion. The crowd tried to drown Jacy out with boos. Jacy said Tatum is right by not giving title shots to randos, but to someone who deserves it. Like someone who carried the division on her back for a whole year. Izzi said Jacy has big words for someone who doesn’t mean much these days. Izzi tried to get Tatum to agree, but Tatum looked conflicted.
Jacy said it’s Tatum’s title, not Izzi, who doesn’t know what it feels like to hold a championship. Jacy said it’s Izzi’s decision and the right thing to do would be for her to give Jacy a rematch. Tatum said she has to be smart and more selective. She said she’s going to do just that… After New York. Tatum jumped around and agreed to give Jacy a rematch…
John’s Thoughts: Tatum’s line delivery isn’t the best, but there is charisma there and a bit of genuine connection that compensates for it (Very interesting contrast to her storyline bff Lyra Valkyria who til this day still struggles to connect with the audience). A productive segment to show how heels will try to take advantage of Tatum’s naivety to get what they want. I continue to think that the ultimate goal is Izzi being super defensive of Tatum so Tatum can be easy pickings for her to take the title off of. I actually like this women’s storyline in NXT, though the NXT women’s division got a bit more cramped with a bunch of additional title belts stuffed in it (Speed, Knockouts, Mixed, and North American).
Jackson Drake and Swipe Right were bragging in front of NXT GM Ava backstage. Ava joked that the fans can’t wait until Sean Legacy becomes champion. Ethan Page and Chelsea Green entered with their many belts, with Alba Fyre. Ava was about to say his name, but Green said to not. Ava booked Thea Hail vs. Alba Fyre for later in the show. Page liked this because it’ll make it easier to defend the Mixed Tag Team Titles…
Separate shots of Jasper Troy and The Americanos were shown as they were heading to the ring…[c]
A John Cena Last Time is Now interview segment aired where Cena talked about almost joining the military, but ultimately becoming a pro wrestler…
A replay aired of Josh Briggs attacking Tavion Heights a few weeks ago, which set up Briggs vs. Heights for later on this episode…
Entrances for the Speed Title match took place…
1. El Grande Americano (w/Rayo, Bravo) vs. Jasper Troy in a 5 Minute Time Limit Match for the WWE Speed Championship. Troy tackled Grande into the corner to start the match. Troy body slammed Americano for a one count. Americano hit Troy with a kick. Troy caught Americano out of the air. American escaped and gave Troy a jump kick followed by a PK for a two count. Troy gave Americano a clothesline and running elbow to take down Americano. Troy gave Americano a double chop, boot, and standing Splash for a nearfall.
Americano turned the tide with a Leg Lariat. Americano hit Troy with a Tightrope Blockbuster. Troy blocked a Suicide Dive with a right hand. Bravo and Rayo took away Troy’s chain when he went for it. The referee ejected Rayo and Bravo thinking they interfered. Americano gave Troy a Suicide Dive. Rayo handed Americano the piece of lead before leaving. Americano gave Troy a Flying Jalepeno. The referee caught Americano trying to load the mask, causing Americano to drop the lead. Troy recovered and hit Americano with the Black Hole Slam for the victory.
Jasper Troy defeated El Grande Americano via pinfall in 4:42 to become the new WWE Speed Champion.
John’s Thoughts: Harmless and easy to map out Speed match. I’m a little weary of them putting the undercard toy belt on Troy, given how undercard toy belts are a kiss of death sometimes, but lets see if they have something serious planned. Americano was fun for a bit, but Tall Americano just inherited the title from the injured Gable Americano and was off doing other things. If they are taking Troy seriously, it’ll be interesting to see him tear through wrestlers under 5 minutes using his large size, which his how they should have pushed him to begin with instead of having him lose so much. Maybe he can use this belt to aura farm.
Thea Hail was getting ready backstage. Say his name and he appears, I believe in Joe Hendry. Clap Clap. Hendry appeared telling Thea that all she had to do was look left to see he was there. Joe said he couldn’t ask for a better partner than Thea heading into Gold Rush. Thea said she’s hyped to become a AAA mixed tag team champion. Hail said she’s going to beat a former multi time champion in Alba Fyre because she believes in herself, Thea Hail…[c]
Sean Legacy thanked Ava for booking him at Gold Rush night two against Jackson Drake for the Evolve Championship. Sol Ruca and Zaria showed up. Ava told Sol that she was cleared, but she can also defend the title at Deadline down the road. Ruca said she’s okay with challenging Blake next week…
Green, Page, and Fyre were already in the ring. Thea Hail and Joe Hendry got a televised entrance…
2. Alba Fyre (w/Ethan Page, Chelsea Green) vs. Thea Hail (w/Joe Hendry). Hail went for a Kimura early on, but Fyre shrugged it off. Fyre worked on Hail with methodical offense. Hail came back with a rollup. Fyre ducked a spin kick and rolled up Hail. Fyre blocked another Kimura. Hail gave Hail a Thesz Press. Hail worked on Fyre’s left arm. Hail hit Fyre with a few armdrags and then dropkicked her to ringside.
Hail hit Fyre with a springboard Trust Fall at ringside. Hail blocked a slap from Green at ringside. The distraction allowed Fyre to hit Hail with a Suicide Dive heading into break.[c]
Back from break, Hail was rallying back from Fyre’s advantage. Hail and Fyre traded strong style headbutts in the middle of the ring. Hail then rallied with right hands. Hail escaped a Fireman carry and rallied with axe handles. Hail gave Fyre middle fingers and a clothesline (the censors tried to black out the screen, but was late). After a pin attempt Hail went for another Kimura, but Fyre tossed her into the corner.
Fyre hit Hail with a Torando DDT for a nearfall. Hail got a small package for a two count. Hail hit Fyre with a Michinoku Driver for a nearfall. Hail spun a superkick and then got Alba in a Kimura. Ethan Page got on the apron and was tossed into the ringpost by Hendry. Hendry ducked Green and Green accidentally slapped Page.
Hail hit Green with a Suicide Dive. Fyre hit Hail with a Superkick for a nearfall. Hail countered Fyre into a Sunset Flip for the victory.
Thea Hail defeated Alba Fyre via pinfall in 9:49.
A replay aired of the finish, sponsored by a Chinese express takeout restaurant. Hendry and Hail waived their hands to Hendry’s theme to end the segment…
John’s Thoughts: As much as I liked Low Ki’s Agent 47 attire as main event attire, Fyre’s agent attire depowers her to enhancement level. It’s like how Gohan goes from main character to comedy goof when he puts on the Great Saiyaman attire. Anyways, while there was a bit of clunkiness, this was a fun women’s match. As much as WWE is introducing too many titles, at least they haven’t homogenized yet. Two weeks in and this mixed feud is working. Page and Green low key carry WWE in any time of need. This was a good way to give the newly re-introduced Hendry and Hail something of meaningfulness to do. I hope they allow Hendry to do his American Pie parody cover song that he posted on his YouTube to clown on Ethan and Chelsea.
An injured Ricky Saints was giving Tatum Paxley advice. The Culling pulled off to drag Tatum away. Saints said Tatum is kinda weird, but he kinda likes it…
Blake Monroe’s advertised interview was hyped for after the break…[c]
Vic Joseph and Booker T checked in and hyped next week’s Gold Rush themed show. They sent the show to the Blake Monroe “interview”. Monroe acted like she was interviewed by someone off screen, but they did the TV magic thing of having her interview herself. Her effect doppelganger wore a black pantsuit to look like an interviewer.
The interviewer told the original that she’s not complete until she beats the actual champion who never lost, Sol Ruca. The interviewer told Blake that she’s not going to beat Sol by regular means. The interviewer said she has to be by Blake’s side to bring the pain to Sol. The interviewer Blake begged Blake to let her be a part of it. Good Blake said the fans won’t like her breaking Sol.
Evil Blake said it doesn’t matter. Evil Blake said she co-exists with Blake and they need each other when she needs to step in. Evil Blake said that they are the glamour and the “woman from hell”. They ended the interview…
Je’von Evans was on face time with Leon Slater hyped about how he’s excited to be in the Last time is Now Tournament…[c]
John’s Thoughts: An interesting and creative way to show Blake Monroe’s persona on TV. Her having a sugar and spice dichotomy gives her character and psychological depth and she’s played it well without the visual aid so far, and the visual aid only enhances it. Reminds me a bit of Rosemary from TNA with two beings in one (I’m also fresh off Vince Gilligan’s Pluribus which also involves many in one… hahaha), but this seems a bit more realistic if they keep it psychological.
[Hour Two] Sarah Schreiber interviewed Jordynne Grace about Kelani Jordan’s justification last week. Grace said Kelani just tried to justify taking the easy way out. She said cheating is uninspired and anyone can do it. Grace said she’s happy Santino made things right. Grace said she wasn’t only a Knockouts champion, she was THE Knockout. Grace said while Kelani was flipping around in college, Grace became a 3 time Knockouts Champion. She said she’s sorry Lei Ying Lee has to be collateral damage. Grace said Kelani keeps blaming everyone else, but she only has to blame one person, Jordynne Grace, next week…
Je’von Evans was hyped in the ring, saying he’s hyped to be in the Last Time is Now tournament. He said ngl, he’s nervous. He said it’s crazy going against Gunther, but also because he’s wrestling in Madison Square Garden at age 21. He said he’s also hyped for next Tuesday. Evans asked the production truck to put X Division Champion Leon Slater on the big screen. Evans said he talked to Ava and Leon talked to Santino Marella.
Evans noted that next week will have he and Evans face goofy-ass DarkState for the tag titles next week at Gold Rush. Slater said they are going to have to jack their gold for what they did to their heroes, The Hardys. Evans said he and the Largest in Charge will create history next week. Je’von’s promo was cut off with the DarkState light show. DarkState walked from the crowd. Griffin said Evans didn’t learn anything after what they did to Je’von’s hero.
The rest of DarkState took turns intimidating Evans. Saquon Shugars joked about calling Slater “Top Boy” (based off the TV show). Evans revealed that Slater was actually in the arena, not in the UK. Slater stormed the ring. Slater and Evans cleared DarkState from the ring and hit them all with flip dives…
John’s Thoughts: Uhm? Ok. The segment was fine and I’m all for making Je’von and Leon look strong, but that was a bit too much in contrast of making DarkState look like goofy fools. They were hapless here and have been for weeks. The Hardys almost beat them 4 on 1, and Slater and Evans have dominated them every step of the way since.
Kelani Jordan met up with Trick Williams backstage and apologized to Trick for not recognizing that Trick was right about being selfish. Trick said he’s going to beat Ricky tonight and next week Kelani will show everyone why she’s “HER” (reference to Jordan’s real life boo, Carmelo Hayes)…
Vic hyped a Speed Tournament match for after the break…[c]
To hype the Last Time is Now, A Kurt Angle interview aired where he talked about John Cena’s debut against him…
LFG winner Skyler Raye made her entrance with a pom pom. A clip video showed highlights of her in LFG. Fatal Influence were already in the ring…
3. Skylar Raye vs. Fallon Henley (w/Jacy Jayne, Lainey Reid) in a 3 minute Speed Tournament Match. Raye got a one count after a crucifix. Henley came back with a slap. Henley slammed Skylar and both women traded pin attempts. Raye hit Henley with a crossbody for a nearfall. Henley gave Raye Snake Eyes and a face buster. Henley hit Raye with a Fame Asser for the victory.
Fallon Henley defeated Skylar Raye via pinfall in 2:14 to advance to the finals of the WWE Women’s Speed Tournament.
John’s Thoughts: Not much to really access from Raye given the limited Speed format. She has a good look. That’s a plus. I would drop the cheerleader gimmick and pom pom though as it makes her look a bit hokey. It also doesn’t make her stand out as every NIL women that comes into WWE is either a former gymnast or cheerleader, just like every male NIL dude being a big ol linebacker or lineman.
Jasper Troy was in the parking lot cutting a promo about how he’s going to defend the Speed title and everyone bending the knee. The camera panned over to an angry DarkState, who hyped beating Leon and Je’von at Gold Rush…
A replay aired of Tavion Heights costing Briggs his match against Americano last week…
Josh Briggs made his entrance with his little Spirit store skull buddy…[c]
Fatal Influence were leaving Gorilla Position bragging about Henley’s win. Lainey Reid walked away saying she has something to do…
Vic Joseph hyping Sheamus appearing at upcoming NXT live events…
Tavion Heights made his entrance…
4. Tavion Heights vs. Josh Briggs. Briggs started the match immediately flooring Heights with a big boot. Briggs put the boots to Heights. Heights rallied back with a few takeovers on Briggs. Heights worked on Briggs with chained Belly to Back suplexes. Vic hyped the Iron Survivor matches for Deadline. Briggs escaped and hit Heights with a Sidewalk Slam for a nearfall. Briggs worked on Heights with methodical offense.
Vic noted how it’s odd that Briggs has been in NXT for so long with Booker defending Briggs as having more experience than the NIL types. Heights deadlifted Briggs into a Fireman Carry from a cartwheel. Briggs came back with a flying lariat.[c]
Heights had the advantage, but Briggs took control when the referee went for separation. Briggs hit Heights with a Chop Block. Heights tried to take over Briggs, but Briggs came back with elbows. Heights powered through and slammed Briggs. Heights rallied back with clotheslines and a head slam. Briggs came back with two Yakuza Kicks. Heights crotched Briggs and beat him after a Belly to Belly.
Tavion Heights defeated Josh Briggs via pinfall in 9:20.
Ava was chatting with Myles Borne backstage. Ava told Briggs to not interfere in the Trick vs. Ricky match. Borne said he needs to give Trick a receipt for hitting him with a chair. Borne agreed to not interfere. Wren Sinclair showed up and fist bumped Borne before he left. Kendal Grey showed up to chat with Wren about finding more members for Wren-QCC. Lainey Reid showed up and randomly bitch slapped Grey. Grey and Lainey had to be pulled apart…
Vic Joseph ran through the advertised Gold Rush Night 1 card…
Mike Rome announced the next match as a Last Man Standing match. Trick Williams made his entrance with a Kendo stick…[c]
Vic ran through the advertised Gold Rush Night 2 card. Vic also announced Kendal Grey vs. Lainey Reid for the Women’s Evolve Title for Gold Rush Night 2…
NXT Champion Ricky Saints made his entrance, sporting rib tape…
5. Ricky Saints vs. Trick Williams in a Last Man Standing Match for the NXT Championship. Ricky avoided Trick’s cane shots. Ricky grabbed the stick and snatched it away during the Old School tightrope. Ricky dumped Trick to ringside. Ricky and Trick brawled at ringside. Ricky tossed Trick into the steel steps. Ricky went for a slingshot nothing, but Trick hit him in the injured ribs with a home run swing from a trash can. Ricky beat the count and ate a Crescent Kick from Trick.
Trick beat another count and ate chops from Trick. Trick tied Ricky in the ropes like a crucifix and went to town on Ricky’s ribs with the stick. When Ricky got free, Trick worked on Ricky’s ribs with a chair. Ricky blocked a trash lid and hit Trick with it a few times. Ricky dumped Trick to ringside with ten minutes left at the top of the hour.[c]
Trick had the advantage back from break with 7 minutes left at the top of the hour. Trick had the advantage, but Ricky got a moment of respite after sidestepping Trick and sending him through the ringside barricade. Vic noted the bruises all over Ricky’s lower body. Ricky used a cane to get to his feet. Ricky went to town on Trick with a Kendo Stick. Trick begged for mercy. Ricky broke the kendo stick and grabbed a chair.
Trick booted the chair into Ricky. Trick went for a neckbreaker, but Ricky swatted Trick out of the air with the chair. Ricky slammed the chair many times into Trick. Trick got up at nine and ate a Spear from Ricky. Trick got up to his feet and was bleeding from the head. Trick sidestepped Ricky and sent Ricky’s ribs into a chair set up in the corner. Ricky got up, but Trick hit him with the steel steps to get him back down.
Trick jumped off the steel steps and hit Ricky with a nice looking Tiger Knee. Trick hit Ricky with a Book End on the steps. Trick put the steps on Ricky and then stood on top of them. Ricky slid under the steps with Trick not knowing. Ricky shoved Trick off the steps. Ricky went for another spear, but Trick sidestepped him into the crow’s nest drywall. Ricky beat the count and jumped on Trick.
Trick hit Ricky with a Tiger Knee in the stands. When Trick went to gloat on the barricade, Ricky recovered and speared him off the barricade and through the announce table. Both men were getting up, but Ricky shoved Trick down to beat the count.
Ricky Saints defeated Trick Williams in a Last Man Standing Match in 15:18 to retain the NXT Championship.
After the bell, Oba Femi’s entrance theme played. NXT closed (I’m assuming they just ran out of time due to Local News time constraints)…
John’s Thoughts: A good match, but taken back a bit due to the CW local news time constraints. This probably would have been a better match to build to for Halloween Havoc. Their Halloween Havoc match was a pretty forgettable match even though it was well worked. The drama of this match was better and had the better visual with the blood, but could have used not having constraints. Did they just burn through two Trick matches so they can call him up? WWE is strange with callups and write-offs these days (I’m assuming Tony D’Angelo is already on the “missing” side of a milk carton).
Oba is another who’s done everything there is to do in NXT and in line for a call-up. My guess with him is that he’s in line for an impressive Royal Rumble run if they are confident he’s main roster bound (they can always use the Rumble to assess him too because if they feel like he’s not ready, they can always send him back to NXT). We are still in Survivor Series and Iron Survivor season though, so there’s a lot of time before the rumble. This week’s show was fine. Next two weeks will be interesting because NXT will be showcasing their unnecessary abundance in title belts.

Hmmmmm..
It looks like they’re setting up Jasper Troy joining DarkState.
That’s what I’ve been hoping for since they put Troy on his losing streak. I almost thought they were setting him up to replace White Booty Warrior in the group.
Yeah Cutler needs to go and form a team with Briggs or something.
It made sense for Jasper Troy to win the Speed title since El Grande Amercano is main roster wrestler and the Speed title is now a NXT belt.
I’m going to say this again, John. Being called up to the main roster isn’t just about being ready. We know a number of them are ready. But there’s no point if creative has nothing for them on either Raw or Smackdown. That’s the sort of tack that Vince used and for the most part it went badly for the elevated. Paul Levesque isn’t falling for that mistake although it has happened on his watch too. Just nowhere near as frequently.
